Technically Lord Slug was a Super Namekian and they were others that were banished out. Also in the anime when Piccolo fuses with Kami they refer to it as being on par with a Super Saiyan Transformation and krillin says Super Namekian. So the SuperHero movie really is just recycled crap with fresh coat of paint. Evil Scientist two powerful Androids Cell Super Namekian Gohan transforms.

Most people forget piccolo was a super namekian way before that. Back in the end of dragon ball when he went giant that was called a super namekian

Y’know what’s funny? Nail is right. The entire series was a fantastic parody through and through until *this* episode, where it started to become the equivalent of an unofficial high quality dub.
Imo it reached that level quite a few episodes ago. Pretty much the beginning of the Android saga I could almost no longer remember or tell what was original and what was abridged

It’s amazing how Krillins the bravest of the group, he’s the weakest there and even after watching the gang get crushed he’s prepared to fight. Even when Cell becomes perfect and terrifies them all (except Vegeta), he’s the first to fight.
It’s easy to be brave when your strong, but to want to fight knowing your on the backfoot.
He wasn't totally prepared to fight here. Biggest clue - he didn't.
He only fought cell for cyber sex
@@murderc27 i'd never really describe krillin as "ready to fight" in most of his scenes- he still contributes to the team, but he goes for a very different role. he's usually more of a tactician or a support, especially when he has senzus or was the sole voice of reason on namek.
it feels like 99% of the krillin owned count just comes from moments when the villain just rushes straight at him instead of one of the stronger fighters. he's not prepared for direct confrontation in the slightest, outside of having one REALLY strong move with the kienzam.
and krillin also has a habit of straight up forgetting his place, like in the lord slug movie where he rushes at lord slug. i wouldnt call that bravery, he's just getting his ass beat because he's being an idiot in that scene (which is hilarious)
on the other hand, i think comparing this to perfect cell is on the other end of the spectrum, considering the kienzam is a crazy strong move that totally should have killed cell, and the only reason it doesnt is because of anime-only bullshit.
although he could just regenerate, i guess...
still, krillin is just relying on an actually strong technique he has, which is less brave than the scen in this episode
what makes this episode special is that krillin still directly challenges the androids.despite the fact that he JUST finished a speech about how that he is weaker than the androids, has no chance to win a 3 on 1, and knows his goddamn place, he still takes them on.
not because he thinks he can win, but because if he doesn't try, it'd be betraying his best friend.
and the only reason they dont fight is because the androids SPARE him, not because of his cowardice.
if he had rushed the androids along with tien and piccolo, he wouldnt have helped at all. and to be fair, thats because rushing at them also didn't help.
i see krillin not getting clapped here as a reward for good behavior and giving the androids proper respect. not because of cowardice or because he's not ready to fight them.
...and the fact that krillin's at role-model levels of bravery in this episode is TOTALLY the reason he gets laid, too

TFS gave Tein so much more character development cause i always loved his character and i felt he never got enough screen time.

Agreed, I liked the honor bound warrior he became during/after the 22 world martial arts tournament, but in many respects I feel like this is a really natural evolution of his character that makes him feel much more engaging. He actually keeps the sarcasm and whit he originally had and it makes him really engaging and entertaining. Plus his self awareness and frustration at the situations around him add another solid layer of character depth as well which we only got hints of in canon.

I watch this entire series once every few months and I am never tired of the great writing and voice acting. This fucking show has stuck around me for 8 years and I can visually recreate the scenes in my head with only the audio. Thank you Team four star!
