Student can also take additional medical insurance, various options available that you will get to know when you arrive here.

the birth and all appointments and tests are covered. After birth when you are discharged then you need to buy everything you need for the new born. If the newborn is sick then a doctor visit will be covered.

Health card will cover all the expenses as long as you have valid work permit

Nobody can fire you, you will go on EI (employment Insurance) or if you get injured at workplace there is Worker's compensation. There are various Government benefits you can avail, without loosing your job. Again things might be different based on condition. Thanks for watching.

Everything is good, patients can be referred to another province in very serious condition, this is totally case specific.
