Multi-level marketing, sometimes referred to as pyramid selling or a pyramid scheme in some cases, is a marketing strategy aimed at selling products or services where a non-salaried workforce provides the revenue. Rather than selling products to consumers, the products are presented as a business opportunity that the purchasers would then sell to another group of people on the same premise, and so on. Relationship referrals and word-of-mouth marketing are a big part of MLM. A pyramid scheme is a sketchy and unsustainable business model, where a few top-level members recruit newer members. Those members pay upfront costs up the chain to those who enrolled them.

One this type of mlm I have faced showing that have offices in Dubai also . Showing each individual earning crore of rupees 😂 , very few earning lakhs and that is also majority in months , there main business was to raise huge amount of money for forex trading and guranting a return of 8% every month's and then 12% depending on money people will give and guranting 1 crore rupees with in 2 years . Most of the people were so influenced that some gave check of lakhs and some also sold their land to bring money . They also bought some people who introduce themselves as servant and rick Shaw puller who were telling people they were earning lakhs per month . That was my first and last date in that program. Amway is one such company and there was RMP in bangalore who brainwashed my close friend to quit high paying fortune 500 company by God's grace we all convinced him let that scheme run two years after that u quit that scheme shut in one year

I really can say ,you give always true knowledge of financial...
I came across 4 times (3 time in India and 1 time in Australia) in this kind of MLM schemes but luckily I didn’t got end up in either one of them they are very manipulative but luckily I didn’t fall for it and also I didn’t let my other friends to fall for it.
Currently in 2023 also such schemes are going on the mode has been changed like now it become e-commerce or something like that but things in those schemes are same like meetings, seminars, professional attire, passive income, second source of income and many more.
So please don’t fall for such schemes.
