Great video! Most tuners want to charge extra to weld in a bung for the wideband sensor which is a total waste of money. I realize this is a old video but the best "vice grip" to hold a wideband sensor to a tailpipe is the Tekton PLK90303 kit which includes two different size locking pliers that works on 99% of vehicles. In my experience, the shape of the Tekton Locking Pliers do not disturb the turbulent flow which is imperative for precise tuning and they hold tight even with aggressive high rpm testing. The kit is only $25, if you want accurate readings it's worth the extra cost.
Thx for your help... I did what you said idle is still lean up to about 2000 rpm then goes rich like .840
Did it get any better?
Great channel!! Need help tuning my 2010 camaro ss it’s lean at idle how do I make richer with hp tuners wb 1.15 thx keep the videos coming!!
Thanks! Sounds like it needs some tuning. You can try multiplying the MAF curve at idle hz do a small log to see where the maf reads at idle and then add 13% or x multiply by 1.13 and then smooth the maf curve
3:49 I thought he was going to yawn made me yawn. 😂
good video bro.
bro? how many second 0-100 km/h for this tuned LS3?
3:02 Any issue getting proper AFR because the sensor is after the cats and flooded with air at the exhaust tip? Seems to be susceptible to error.
You don't get the best reading at idle/part throttle but the way the tube is designed and placement at wide open throttle it works pretty good! I always tune leaner at the exhaust tip to compensate for the AFR that is actually coming out of the engine
Reving past 7k ?
Hit me up. I see your doing good with all that. Let's see what you can get out a 6 SPD with a little mods.
Sounds good!
this isnt a ls3 its a l99 engine
L99 is an ls3 but an automatic
@@Dilpickle2002 NO. L99 is a gutless version of the LS3. The LS3 does not have power robbing VVT with heavy valvetrain components. Plus the L99 has a lame cam since its automatic for people not qualified to operate the M6. It's not even close...forgot to mention the 3.27 gear ratio in the L99 vs 3.45 in the LS3. L99 is for green horn drivers.
You can set a variant where you only see readings over 90% throttle. You won’t have to stop and start recording every time. You can make it one complete log instead of multiple
Nice! I'll have to figure out that setting! Thanks for the info!
Check out The Tuning School and I think A21 Bravo has it on their pages.
@@txslugga06 nice! I went to the tuning school gm beginners course I have an idea where it will be in the software. Just need to play with it more lol. Never ending!
Build Tune Race heck yeah dude. Pass on any info you learn. It’s still a learning curve for me. Maybe you can integrate your EFI greatness with HP also 😬
😂 Shoot I'm just learning! That's the plan though document it as I go!
You turn that car 7900rpm ? Hope it camed

You may need a brand new engine
Your stock O2 sensor will be more accurate than that inaccurate setup you got there Sir 😬
