ofc we don't know the exact reason why cocona shaved her hair, but it might be because the constant comments on her hairstyles etc. it is confirmed by coco's parents that she wanted to try something new (with the hair) so it is safe to say it's indeed her decision. plus, she's so comfortable with this new look on stage (by seeing fancams of the current tour). if she was cool and confidence before, she is lethal now.

Cocona’s parents said she has shaved her head before and wanted to do it again. The label wanted her to wait until it fit the theme to let it happen strategically. This was the perfect moment for it. They even used the back of her head as the back cover of the album.
I think it’s a really great way for her to become more comfortable in her skin. I was curvy like her really young, and it can inspire some really gross comments from folks. When I would cut my hair short, usually pixie cuts, I felt REALLY confident and more comfortable in my skin. I wonder if it’s similar for COCO. She just wants to play and have fun with her style while she’s in that formative stage!

I had a chance to talk with Cocona's parents and asked them about her hair. They told me that she had wanted to shave her head for a long time, but the management had stopped her because it did not fit the concept.
They were happy to be able to do what they wanted to do under the concept of an all-wrap event.😊

Im actually shocked that no one on any of the reaction videos or on XG’s channel (unless I missed it) mentioned anything about Cocona’s last verse of spelling out COCO; then saying “thats me lord have mercy. People always seem to have the hardest time saying her name lol. It’s not that hard to say so it’s just kind of funny to hear people not get it right.

I wonder if she got so much hate for wearing braids from some reactioners about cultural appropriation that she got fed up and as a shot to those haters shaved her head so she had no hairstyle to offend anyone. I've seen a few videos of reactioners making a deal about Cocona's braids as well as others who have worn braids and black culture. What other reason would she shave it all off, if she had hair damage , that's no reason to keep it secret, there are treatments. I noticed no one wore braids in this video, it'll be interesting to see if any of the girl's in the future wear braids again that could offend some of those haters. I really hope I'm wrong about this but I started worrying about things like this because I've seen too many reactioners who are black angered by Kpop's cultural appropriation to black culture using their styles. It's made me think this way. if I offended anyone by my comments I'm sorry, this is just my thoughts on why she may have shaved her hair off.
If the hate is from the Braids that is really lame. Cultural appropriation is not real. Culture is meant to be shared not gatekeeped. I always liked her braids. @@CribReactions I totally agree, sharing culture among our fellow races gives us a better understanding of each other.Braids have been worn by females around the world.Lot's of different styles, and no culture should lay claim to any style since they have no idea when and where a style may have been used throughout history. It's hair people ! Why blacks are the only race that brings up cultural appropriation when it comes to braids angers me. 90% of the blacks watching XG's videos don't even care about Cocona or any of the girls wearing braids just a disgruntled and jealous few. They look great in braids, I especially liked Cocona's styles.
