Railfuture East Anglia has campaigned for a station to serve Cambridge Science and Business Parks for 30 years. It is finally becoming a reality. Cambridge North station will open in May 2017.
Construction of the £50m station began in mid 2015. This video by Railfuture shows the island platform, footbridge and station building shells viewed from a passing train in October 2016, just seven months before it is due to open.
