It is beyond pathetic for anyone to "pretend" to be a rescue organization just for donations while majorly neglecting all those beautiful dogs. I am thankful to all of those who cared enough and who actually rescued these little darlings. I always love watching The Dodo videos, you really get to see all the kind hearted people out there and all the animals given a second chance to live and be happy.
“So-called rescue” groups who take in that many dogs, horribly mistreat them - all to collect donations from kind people… should be jailed and NEVER allowed to go near any animal again!! Thank goodness for the amazing TRUE rescue groups who stood up and took care of neatly 400 dogs!! These folks are earth angels - and my heartfelt gratitude goes out to them!!!❤

Beware of blindly giving money to just any charity! Do your research! It’s unfortunate that it has to be this way, but this video is proof of how low some people stoop. But it’s also proof of how good humans can be! 💕

I started crying immediately. Seeing the tiny cages that SO MANY precious and loving dogs were being kept in...probably have never left since they were imprisoned. The tears turned to smiles seeing how many dogs were fostered out quickly, and how many people showed up to help. God bless those people. I'm glad Iris was adopted and has a her fur-ever home!! Stronger laws with harsher penalties HAVE TO BE enacted in this world to keep situations like this from happening. These animals only want our love and attention, and they give back UNCONDITIONAL LOVE in return!!

The evil things that call themselves "humans" really have no idea what it's like to love and be loved. How can anyone do this to another living thing? It's beyond heartbreaking! Thank goodness the police got involved! Whoever made that call is a hero in my book. Thank GOD for these beautiful dogs being rescued. The foster families are heroes as well, giving comfort and love to these babies before they were matched to their forever homes.

Why aren't these so-called animal sanctuaries inspected regularly to avoid these types of hoarding situations? Someone had to know about this hoarder but miserably failed to call police or an animal rescue centers. Terrible.
THIS MAKES ME FURIOUS! I just lost my boxer Bella of 14 years and I’m devastated and I gave her THE BEST of everything because she gave me so much as do many dogs and to see how someone can do this to that precious dog is infuriating!

Sweet Iris is such a loving little girl. She deserves to have only the best that life has to offer, after all she went through, as do all of those babies.
To see her at the end of the video, playing with her toys, being loved by her humans, as if nothing bad had ever happened in her life, just shows how forgiving these "dumb animals" are. (Whoever coined that phrase never had a pet, obviously.) We can learn so much from them!

I love Iris' flying leap off the couch at the end. It was so big she was suspended for a split second, or as we used to say, "getting some air." Glad she has such a wonderful family now.

This is why it is super important to know where your donations are going to.
Unfortunately, there are too many greedy, evil people who will play on peoples emotions & exploit animals for their own personal monetary gain.
Remember, anyone can create a starving, hurt, damaged animal & upload videos - there MUST BE social media regulations that require ALL rescues / charities to display an official charity identification registration number, so that the public can check that the rescue is legitimate BEFORE making a donation.
Social media companies MUST also have the responsibility to ensure that there are legitimate checks on charities that use their services, otherwise they are also culpable in the abuse that the animals are sustaining at the hands of the abusers.
Social media companies can't keep turning their backs & pleading that it is not their job or responsibility, while greedily taking money with both hands.
They are providing the product & service to people - just like any other business - they are accountable too, because without these platforms there would not be such a wide access to so many people.
How can anyone be so cruel to helpless animals?
I think about how kind and caring those children will be growing up
in the home which demonstrates so much love for suffering animals.

Iris is so cute and sweet! It must be hard to not be able to feed the dogs bowl after bowl when they're still looking for food. Her foster family did a wonderful job bringing her back to health. It's awesome that they were able to get all the dogs rescued, fostered and adopted. That's an amazing effort by so many people.
