    I have feminine De and I have noticed when I do stand up for myself or for others I have seen an big difference in how things get done. I’m so used to moving for the tribe but it almost feels nice when I stand up for myself since it feels like I’m making personal progress and growing outside of the situation. Like it doesn’t matter if the tribe agreed with me or not in this specific situation, BUT I ACTUALLY STOOD UP FOR MYSELF. It feels liberating I don’t know lol. Maybe while growing your demons is good I think having a balance of your sexual modalities helps as well in this “personal growth process”

      My ISTP ex (im ENFJ) used to see how I would use my masculine Se and kinda stare at me like “baby you’re doing this like this with all these people?”
      Because I know she would normally be embarrassed.. but sometimes she would get so passionate about something and then take control it was so cute and so precious I loved it.
      I did everything I could to support her big Se decisions because I know they meant a lot to her while a lot of things didn’t, and I loved it if my toes got stepped on because it was literally anything for my bbgirl.

  • @einsame_Maria
    @einsame_Maria Před 2 lety +29

    I think I kinda get the thing about masculine Fi. It moves itself alright, on its own. Like "I like music it makes me feel so many things, I laugh, I cry" and then someone would suggest a source of feelings that is not your source of feelings and you're all like "yeah, I don't feel anything"
    Which might come off as weird and somewhat egotistic and deceptive. But it's just that weird Fi that attaches itself to random things and sees value in them and when it doesn't want to change....it doesn't want to change 💀
    Why do you like this thing and not these other ten things that are identical to it? Who knows.....

    I'm a little confused.
    If De is Masculine, then what's movable?
    we know Masc-De means Fem-Di, so by this logic, Masc-De should "firmly go along the tribe", because they think the tribe is not movable, and they are moving their own Fem-identity Di.
    Which is the opposite of what this video says, can anyone explain?

    • @aubreys1675
      @aubreys1675 Před 2 lety +3

      I had a similar thought that the way they are talking in this video seems contrary to other things. I think what they’re really getting at at though is where the control is. Masc De controls the tribe, masc Di controls the self. It ties into the example of Ellen scaring him because he is willing to push on De (with the bathroom example) the same way Ellen is pushing on her guests emotions by scaring them

    • @aubreys1675
      @aubreys1675 Před 2 lety +2

      It’s almost more about m/f Feeling than it is about De/Di. De/Di is just where it’s expressed. That’s my interpretation anyway

    • @MrLuigiFercotti
      @MrLuigiFercotti Před 2 lety +8

      Barkley's Ti will be more movable. He's going to be more receptive to arguments and other opinions regarding his reasons. OTOH, I'm M - Ti and will argue it out, so it's a lot harder to move my position regarding self. OTOH, I'm less confrontational to the tribe. It's more "whatever."
      Not sure "firmly go along the tribe" is correct. All the M - Fe/Te I know want to move the tribe, not go along with it. I'm married to and ENFJ FWIW.

    • @njb444
      @njb444 Před 2 lety +4

      I'm an INFJ with masculine Fe (as a demon). They don't have many videos on feminine Ti, but in my own experience, it's a bit more diplomatic and I can adjust my assumptions more fluidly depending on the values of the people I'm engaging with. From my own observations, I and others with feminine Ti as a savior can be prone to doubt and overthinking, because if no one's putting a foot down for something deemed Fe important, the thinking never grounds itself around a final decision. A more positive trait of feminine Ti would probably be in the ability to show understanding in a way that diffuses masculine Fe tensions. At the end of the day, my personal opinions are movable, but I need to be on solid terms with others.

    • @aubreys1675
      @aubreys1675 Před 2 lety +1

      njb444 would you say fTi has the ability to defend any position? Like the logic is movable enough that you could come up with a reasonable explanation for anything?

      @@lonelypad3993 It lowers and dumbs down thinking, and is disrespectful.
      I've also noticed Typology CZcamsrs that swear the most are the worst typers. And their swearing seems to act like a smoke screen for their lack weak typing skills.
      For example, Objective Personality swears the most. And they are also serially mistype people. And their 4 function model is outdated and incomplete. Another reason I don't subscribe to them.
      It took Hollywood a long time to realize that heavy swearing and use of sex scenes pushed their audiences away. And the top movies that make the most money have these things the least. Which is why more and more good movies are coming out PG.

    • @lonelypad3993
      @lonelypad3993 Před 2 lety

      @@jaredvaughan1665 Is it possibile that you are on a fe/Ti Axis? It would make sense since your argument is swearing emotionally (Fe) to hide their bad typing skills (ti), Te/fi users think best when they talk and are loud. And you can't say it is outdated to use 4 function model since it is their system, in which such things as shadow functions can be explained in different way.

    • @jaredvaughan1665
      @jaredvaughan1665 Před 2 lety

      @@lonelypad3993 Socionics and Beebe's 8 function model explains many things Objective Personality cannot do.
      Why do I say this? Here are some examples:
      1) The 8 functions all show up in Darionardi's brain scans. In fact Darionardi said his brain scans info is heavily reliant on the 8 function model.
      2) As noted by Socionics, our two strongest functions are the 1st and 6th. Although, as Beebe notes, the 6th is used a Critic, and as Socionics notes the 6th is not as valued as the top 4 functions.
      In other words, an INTJ has as good or better Ti than anyone else. You would think Dave Superpowers would rejoice at this. But instead he would likely cover this up by explaining it a different way. Because it doesn't fit with his archaic Ford Model T 4 function model.
      Darionardi also notes that INFPs predominantly use Fi-Ni whereas INTPs predominantly use Ti-Ne as their top 2 functions. Which explains why INFPs are so delusional and INTPs so scatter-brained. Where is this explained in Objective Personality???????
      3) Also they are not great typers. After looking through their list, I'd give them about a 20 to 40% accuracy rate.
      Dr. Phil, for example, is universally typed as an ESTJ. Which CSJ also proves in detail in a typing video. Yet somehow Objective Personality sees him as an Fe Dominant. What???? Is that because as a psychologist he talks about Fe subjects? I don't know but if you want to see his actual type watch CSJ use the type grid to prove why everyone else types him his actual type as an ESTJ.
      This is one of many examples as to why CSJ's type grid is far more accurate and complete at typing people than Objective Personality.
      4) As an INTP I understand it is not accurate to say their swearing makes them bad typers. I actually think they are average typers. And much more accurate than others such as Eric from How to Type Famous People.
      What I said is their heavy swearing is partly used to cover up weaknesses in their theory and average typing abilities. (They are not completely incorrect. After all they did correctly type Ellen as an ENTP, which few do, and did get Jung, and other's type correct that most don't.)
      5) Also I like some of their theories such as their masculine, feminine observations. And their jumper theory is accurate in the sense that half the population never did figure out how to fully incorporate their parent or auxiliary function.
      And I like them so much that I think if they were less vulgar they would be more apt to address the weaknesses in their theories, be taken more seriously by their critics, and gain a bigger audience. So instead of 48000 subscribers they could be pushing 60 000.
      I'm not saying that subscriber count should matter. But I am saying my advice to them is meant to be helpful and not damaging.
      As for me I keep taking the best from everyone, and may create a unified theory that incorporates the best from typology everywhere.
      And if I have to wade through vulgarity and incorrect typing from Dave and Shannon I will collect the best from them too. But it won't stop me from giving helpful advice that could make their content better.
