Blackmagic Design Davinci Resolve 18. Best post production software hands down.
Could use some help with the software I’ve downloaded it before and it worked fine so when I got a new pc I went to reinstall it and it keeped asking me for a key, I went back to the website and downloaded the other version thinking I accidentally downloaded the one they give to like movie producers but it still asked for a key am I doing something wrong?
@@ProLi0nBizzy Depends on what you want. If you want the "Free" version you shouldn't have any problems downloading and installing. If, on the other hand, you want the "Studio" version that will cost $295 and will need a key. I would try the "Free" version first then as you become more familiar with the software and comfortable editing you can then purchase the "Studio" version. However, the "Free" version has a loooot of what you will need to do some great editing post production. Hope this helps.

But it takes hours and hours to edit a single video of 1 hour

Do notice that Capcut need higher level CPU and RAM as well as Premiere Pro, just the usage is way more simple than Premiere Pro.

i have DaVinci resolve, it is good to use but it will take a couple of yt tutorials to get the hang of it. When you do get the hang of it it will be really good to use to edit.

@@AG-yb8xi really any pc would work, i would suggest around 1200 dollars. it may appear laggy but the videos will be really good when you export it.

3.77 Gb is nothing to shat your pants about. That is very reasonable imo. Like bro said above me, video games take up way more space than most apps out. Sea of Thieves is 107 Gb compared to DaVinci. I'm happy it wasn't a big download

I've tried using both. I have a dji air 3 and action 4 and I'm having nothing but problems with glitchy playback on the timeline which I have fixed by changing the res from 4k to 1080 but even once I have finished editing and render, the finished product is still glitchy. I'm almost regretting spending the money on the toys because the editing side of things is doing my head in. If anyone can help that would be amazing. I've tried alot of different things after watching 6 million people opinion on youtube but to no avail.

Why y'all never mention Capcut has an export limit of 10 minute videos?
Is DaVinci Resolve so powerful to be handled by a midrange device?
I use resolve for my video. Depend on your cpu. The rendering speed is depend on the cpu. So normally rendering a 10min video with 25% power output take around 30min. Fair trade
My only issue with capcut is keyframes. on my PC it just straight up disappears when I click it and I can't figure out how to fix it.

Well, I tried using CapCut, and since it was mostly online, when I tried to add transitions to a test video, I got a network error. I tried a solution by using CMD to reset DNS yadayada and restarted but still the same error. Another solution is by using a VPN and I don't wanna use VPN everytime just to edit a video. So I choose option no #2: DaVinci Resolve 18 Home

Where are the files kept that you make when using free video software? While opening clipchamp to continue working, the introduction to clipchamp page was there and my video wasn't. I had the files on my computer but everytime I went back to clipchamp or tried to open it in clipchamp, I could not. Are these free softwares from the cloud? And do they all stop working like clipchamp did? Are you kind of renting the software when it is for free? You have your files of work but if you can't gain accessto the software, or it stops the access , like clipchamp did, you have to start over? Is this what is known as crashing?

I have a very big problem with Davinci,when i try to playback,all of my RAM get eatin ,but is render everything is good. Playback cache is in Smart,editing FullHD videos. It looks like some RAM leaking ,but dont know why :/
ye same that's the problem im having in davinci. Everytime I play a video in my DaVinci resolve timeline, MyVideo gets lagging even with proxy and all of ram eats up
