Fun fact about Rajan's fight is that you can use his own henchmen against him by throwing them at him to stun him for a bit but then pick him up and then throwing him at the lighting barrier.

The hardest person to fight during that Adventure had got to be clock La I hated those electric rings that she shot at me and Carmelita.

@@girmaneshhaileselassie5123 you know not a lot of people talk about that well we grew up in the US we were in the orphanage until we were like 16 and we all had jobs Murray was a pizza delivery boy Bentley worked in I.T.T. tech support and me I had a job as a bike carrier we were trying to save enough money to travel around and I always wanted to go to Paris.

@TheBestFighter I have 100% completed the original trilogy, and grew up with it (still play them occasionally) and I still fail to see why thieves in time is the pile of shit that ruined everything. If it kept up the quality of the first half, left out the Penelope twist and polished the characterisation (especially Carmelita and some of the ancestors), I think it could be a great game. Right now I think it's fine, not great, but definitely not shit.

doesn't anyone experiment anymore or learn anything from the early 2000s? Dimitri shoots those electric shots but the forth attempts backfires on him. Hide from Dimitri's shots and when he makes three shots, you can run towards him; he'll try to fire another but it will backfire on him.
Sly 2 will always be my favorite Sly game. I remember when I first played the demo for it. I was amazed! Then I went to Sears and bought Sly 1. A few months later, Sly 2 released and I went to get it at GameStop. The game has the best maps, great soundtrack, fun missions, and the best story from all Sly games.
Last Outlaw I prefer 3
Sly 2 has the best story, but Sly 3 has the best musics. Sly 1 is more "fun" to play just for the sake of it. Missions are equally good on Sly 2 and 3 but the latter has a bigger variety of gameplay.

Story time. When I first played Sly 1, it completely amazes me with its Saturday Morning cartoon style cut scenes, it's funny brand of humor, and story, I first played it on my PS3 at night the perfect time to play a classic game,but anyways, I played it to 3:00AM, and on Sunday around 5:25, or 5:30 I beat it, and got everything!. It was the first time I'd beaten a game in a well I guess a day and a half or night to day

Murray was specifically designed for battle missions.
Since 3/5 bosses are designed to be fought with regular gameplay (Bentley uses traps and Clock-La is an FPS + platforming.), the character who was designed all around combat will feel the best to use against them.

As I recall, the fight with Jean Bison was the hardest. Most of the others were a breeze, but with Jean Bison's fight, you have to be EXTREMELY careful because you could end up crushing/cutting/burning yourself! I think I struggled so much to the point where I had to ask my brother for help, since he was a more experienced gamer than I was. xD
Let's hope we get some Sly Cooper news soon, either for the TV series or a new game.

For the Clock-La boss fight, the gunner phase came before the paragliding/eye hitting part, so I think it's better to mention the gunner thing first.
Some of these boss fights were real fun lol mainly Jean Bison with the call-in attacks & Clock-La for the chase, but I agree Rajan was a pain back then for the lightning attacks.

Agreed on putting Rajan above Clock-La. Not sure if it's in the PS3/PS4 collections, but in the PS2 version I found that *tapping* the button instead of *holding it down* made the turret heat up much less.
So I totally cheesed straight through the fight. It was still hectic though, just not nearly as terrifying.

6. Contessa- I never had any trouble on her.
5. Jean Bison- I'd sometimes accidentally run into the traps because felt like I had to change directions since the bombs were really close to me, but not that hard though.
4. Dimitri- Similar to Contessa, I didn't have too much trouble with him but sometimes I'd be too risky with attacking him that I'd end up taking damage from him.
3. Neyla- (I'm counting her fight at the end of episode 6 but that's just me) like with Dimitri, I'd focus a little to much on attacking her and not paying attention to the attacks that's going on around me.
2. Rajan- I use to suck at this boss when I was younger but I've got a bit of a strategy for it, I'd use a 3 hit combo and back away from him and then repeat the process. Doesn't work all the time but it's manageable.
1. Clock-la (specifically the first phase) This is another case of focusing on one thing to much and not the other, but it's the opposite with Clock-la. I shoot the misses and other things she launches more then shooting her to stay alive, so I end up staying in the first phase for quite a while.
So that's my ranking on difficulty, but I had my favorite boss then it would be a tie between Dimitri and Jean Bison.

Funny enough the whole Fiendish Five except for Raleigh and Clockwerk and The Klaww Gang except for Contessa and Neyla were either bullied or grew poor (Rajan) and then frozen to death (Bison). Though Mz Ruby was just weird and was an outcast
The only difficulty of Sly games in general for me is the damn turret sections and protecting Murray.
It's terrible for me since I can't aim for shit with a controller.

I found something playing sly 2 on the ps2 and on the ps3 after I beat Dimitri and the end of the clip you see sly and the gang it looks like they r gambling but I played it on the ps3 and u can hear the sound effect in the background but the clip was taken off at the end

Also this is gonna sound really weird, but with the sly trilogy collection on PS3 that I have in Australia, for some reason on the back cover sly is the one who's shown fighting jean bison, not Bentley. That definitely sounds like an error doesn't it? Cause it never happened at all did it?

Not an actual boss, but more the third episode is where things got hard for me. I was a little kid when I played this, so cut me so slack, but when the second episode final cutscene ended with Rajan looking at the screen, I was beyond scared. And then when I saw his crazy look, I knew this level was going to be a bit scary. The level where you had to put the insect in Rajan office was the only one I couldnt pass simply because I didnt pay attention and I never knew I could let it rest on the waters, so I just kept running. And since I didnt know there was a secret passage to Rajan offoce, I kep fightinf the minions at the entrance

hey vivi you know one thing that kind of disappoints me about the Spyro reiginited trilogy? how after you get the skill points in each game, mainly 2 and 3, it doesn't show an epilogue like in the original ps1 games and just concept art instead. do you get what I mean at all? do you miss the epilogues from the original game? they were an awesome addition I thought after getting all the skill points in their respective games. they both neatly tied everything together.
I do!!!!!! That's one of the things that disappointed me.
I pretty much agree, although I'd switch 5 and 4, Contessa is just way too easy to me.

My personal picks of the bosses of Sly 2:
1) Jean Bison: Imagine being in a cat and mouse scenario and you're out matched in strength. It's fun to see Jean get hurt by the very machines he uses as a lumber jack, from saw blades, fire, and even chopped logs. He'll call in his men and throw dynamite to kill you as he's all about close range combat. However, you'll also can get hurt from the same traps if you're not careful enough on your surroundings.
2) Rajan: After a surprise betrayal, we're thrust into a boss fight with the spice overlord tiger and claim his half of the clockwerk heart and stop him from making more Indian spice. One thing that kinda gets me a bit annoyed is the camera turning so much as Rajan take the right side of the screen and Murray with the left, but it doesn't stop me from constantly beating the tiger up. He does call in his men and has a electric wall around the arena and can electrocute the water if he hits the electric wall or not.
3) Clock-la / Neyla: With Neyla turning out to be the main villain of the game, it's so exciting to smack that smug face of hers. Too bad it doesn't happen in her real form before fusing with Clockwerk's body, would've been more satisfying like in chapter 6 with the RC chopper and her ride. At first it took me a lot of tries to stop her as I didn't have a proper mind set back then. Now a days, it's pretty clear to take down the objects coming your way, but the electric rings with go through the chopper if activated or not. One thing that I always get nervous about this boss is energy ball attack from Clock-la's eyes as it can cause some serious damage. Phase 2 is easy with the platforming and whacking the eyes of the bird.
4) Dimitri: For the first boss of the game, it was pretty enjoyable. At first I didn't bother paying attention to Dimitri's energy ring attack as I would get shock and lose some health. Now a days, it's easy by memorizing the pattern of attacks. And the battle theme is catchy.
5) Contessa: For a villain that's pretty much like the devil, the Contessa has the least favorite boss fight. You dodge her attack and strike and may have to deal with her spider babies. Phase 2 does have that bit to make things a little tougher by making you lose control for a few seconds, but it's the same as phase one.
It's tricky to pull off but you can pick up a guard, throw them at Rajan, pick up Rajan after he faints, then throw him into the fence

I've replayed Sly 2 so many times that I could beat all the bosses with little to no damage taken. But back when I first played the game, Clock-La was definitely the most difficult boss. Think it took child me like a whole hour to be able to beat her. The easiest fight (and the most fun) for me was/is the Dimitri fight.

The one boss that wasn't a Klaww Gang member that I have trouble with everytime is the Neyla boss in "He Who Tames The Iron Horse". That always takes more than 1-try for me as too many things can cause easy damage to the RC Chopper

Ik this is off topic but it had to be said what is sly became slytunhamen and he was the one who wrote the book. Because there are pictures of the ancestors and there werent cameras back then. So what if when sly got stuck in egypt he put those pics he took from the ancestors and put em in the book.

I'd be okay if Clockwork was brought back, Clockwork needed more screen time instead of just being a lingering threat in the background, I mean I get why he was always in the background of the first game, but I want to see Clockwork in a more active role in the plot, as in actually witness Clockwork's evil, there's so much you can do with a villain like Clockwork.
Clockwerk brought back stronger would be one of my wishes for the series
I think i can agree with this list. Many of the bosses were hard in the beginning, but they do become quite easy the more you play it (For me at least) If you know their skills, then it should be easy, like the Contessa fight, when she hypnotise (Probably spelling it wrong, sorry about that xD) you. It's actually easy to dodge (Well.. It is for me xD) But other than that, yeah, it does need patients, and the same with Dimitri. I would say Rajan and Clock-la are probably the more challenge side of the game, but Murray vs Rajan has definitelly the most epic fight of them all :D

Honestly, I thought Dimitri was the easiest of the bunch. He telegraphs his moves heavily, and although they do decently hurt, there's nothing stopping you from just side-stepping the punch and jumping the tail-spin. As for Dimitri's laser weapon, it always malfunctions after 3 shots. As soon as that third shot lands, you're free to run up to him, you don't even have to wait for it combust. Plus, aside from Clock-La, Dimitri is the only boss that doesn't have minions in the fight to help him, and I think we can all agree which fight is WAY harder.

Also Vivi I thought it would've been a really hard list to rank overall, because you actually kind of missed 1, neyla's chopper thing from episode 6, he who tames the iron horse, I honestly do in a lot of ways because you do fight her or her chopper thing twice in the level I'm pretty sure. You get what I mean?
My focus was on the main scenarios, Neyla in Clockwerk's frame. Thinking about it now, yeah maybe I could've thrown that one in as well. I guess I looked at that fight as a ''challenge'' thing.

Hands down the best Sly Cooper game ever made.
Personally, I thought Dimitri was the hardest for me in my first run through the game just because I didn't understand his mechanics and his laser attack constantly breaking and loudly shattering stuff around scared me to the point I was too intimidated to advance and waited for him to warp around close enough for him to want to start melee'ing me.

Bison is easy in comparison to the other bosses, but sometimes the guards would surround me.
The Contessa has a simple pattern, as long as you stay out of her face.
Dimitri is actually slightly challenging for a first boss. His laser attacks are nearly 100% accurate and getting close means that he will aggressively attack you. I've learned to gradually get closer as he fires lasers, going from hiding spots, and then to "dance" around him as he flails around.
Neyla with the turret gun is hard because I just hate turret gun parts anyway!!! I know they didn't want you to just cheese the shooting, but I would be more comfortable WITHOUT the overheating and the ability to just hold the shoot button down. I like the rings as a cool callback to the first fight, but I wish you could only shoot them once.
Rajan was unexpectedly hard the first time I fought him. He reach with the hammer attack pushes me away when I don't look out for it, and in the chaos of the battle, I find it hard to scramble to a tiny lilly pad as the only way to avoid his lightning attack. I actually like the intense fight, but if Murray's punches did slightly more damage, and the lilly pads were slightly bigger, I'd find the fight slightly more tolerable....

Yea that's how i would place em. I will add that for contessa, you can easily dodge her hypno move. Just watch for her visual cue and stay away from the ray of light

Does the fight with the helicopter against neyla not count as a boss fight? Is that why you didn’t include her? And I think you should do this for the rest of the series.
That chopper boss fight with Neyla would fall more in the challenges category I'd say. It was pretty tough the first time I tried :O I'm glad you liked the video :)
I find it weird that Rajan got the top spot for this, since I personally feel his patterns were easily exploitable

Honestly; none of Sly 2's bosses were particularly difficult, the turret section against Clock-La was probably the only one with any sort of real challenge, but even then it wasn't necessarily hard. My two personal favourite bosses in the Sly Cooper Series are Don Octavio & General Tsao from Sly 3, both are pretty despicable characters, with pretty good boss fights, though they aren't particularly difficult either, definitely memorable though.

You can also just get Bison under the mig in the middle and just spam sircle
I thought of some rivals for the Cooper Gang, their would be a rat, a rhino, and a pelican.

Lundi: The brains (the pelican)
That would be cool but kinda copying Star Fox since they had a rival too. I kinda wanna see a more in depth story of the original Cooper Gang with Sly's Father, McSweeney and Dr. M

Well it's different, because instead of Ronaldo coming from a long of master thieves he comes from a long line of criminals who are the head of the mafia and hold a walking cane with a diamond ruby on it. And that he doesn't want to continue that legacy, even though his father said that it was his choice, but Ronaldo doesn't because his dad kept that secret until he was about 8 years old. And one night, while walking down town with his mom and dad. His parents were shot and killed by a guy, making Ronaldo an orphan. And like the origin of Sly, he meets up with his soon to be allies, Rocko and Lundi. They became a gang that I couldn't think of a name yet. Who their motto is, if anyone messes with their crimes, their gonna get crushed so hard that they'll turned to dust.

And since the Sly Cooper series takes place in real times, like right now it's 2019. And Ronaldo would be 8 in Sly1, that would mean that Ronaldo is 26 years old today. He is basically younger than Sly. At least that's what I think.
As a kid clock la was the hardest because I didn’t understand the rings but when I found out about shooting the sides easiest boss in the game. Also the most boring lol. My list is Clock-La, Jean bsean (same thing super easy when you find the tactic), dimitri (has less attacks then contessa), contessa, then Rajan, the best boss fight but hardest

As a kid clockla was the hardest and contessa was second. After playing it years later contessa was the hardest even though it was an easy fight. Also an additional note to any who don’t know Rajan and demitri both have a low down spin attack that can be jumped over and the uppercuts can me dodged with ease as well by just side stepping at the right times. Made long combos way easier.

I've only played each of the three games once and had a hard time only cause I had no idea what to do and found it borin', but it seems like they pretty easy games, not anywhere as difficult as the Ratchet series, but maybe you know much more than me on this subject.
Sly is all about stealth, so in a way yes it does feel easier.

See, instead of just swinging Sly's Cane and Murray throwing punches too much when you're fighting the enemy, we need to add a combo move and have that Spider-Man PS4 combat move for Sly and Murray like you saw how Spider-Man was fighting in the PS4 Game, the enemy was losing focus when you attack him. So in Sly Cooper 5 and the Reboot Game, a Spider-Man PS4 Combat Move for Sly when he is swinging his Cane and Murray throwing Punches
Sly Cooper needs something new in terms of boss fights, why not have the player utilise more gadgets we earn?
@@VtnVivi I would prefer the Spider-Man PS4 Combat Choreography including combo moves for Sly and Murray when you're fighting an enemy, Sly swings his cane performing his fighting moves with his cane and Murray throws punches performing fighting moves when he punches. It's like when you're make an Open-World Free Roam Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles PS4 Game, 4 of the Turtles uses that Martial Arts choreography with the inspiration of the Spider-Man PS4 and Batman Arkham Series Combat Choreography. So, for Sly Cooper 5 and Sly Cooper Game Reboot, we use that Spider-Man PS4 Combat Choreography for Sly swinging his cane performing fighting moves and Murray throwing punches performing
Every time I fight Rajan, I lose on my first try and he calls me “fat pathetic weakling”, then beat him on my second try. Every. Time. Why am I cursed?! I’m not fat...am I? Lol

@@VongolaXZax after Bentley what is injured during that whole Clockwork affair Murray blamed himself we tried to console him but it was no good he said he wasn't strong enough but big guys got more heart than anyone else I've ever known.

I just finished the trilogy. Platinumed all 3 games for a 2nd time on a different account.
TR_18 Sly 1 and Sly 2 are easy to platinum. All you have to do is beat the game, collect all the clue bottles, and buy certain moves from thief net (Sly 2). I didn’t really like Thieves In Time. I wish Sucker Punch had made it.
