- I used to play this game a lot. I am very rusty here, but I think this playthrough showcases the changes this hack provides, compared with the original SNES version.
- Better music (taken from the Arcade, for the most part).
- Better sound.
- Full motion video for intros and victories (and some endings too, in this case, it seems Jago's ending is missing).
- Particle effects (some of them unfinished, and creating some slowdown, which is expected).
- Additional animation.
This is the SNES version of Killer Instinct the way you would have liked to look and sound back in 1995. You can play this in SNES9X. - Hry

Ótima versão. Embora esteja muito longe da Versão Arcade por ser um 16 Bits, porém, aproximou mais da versão Arcade de 64 Bits. Muito bom essa versão em comparação a versão original de Super Nintendo/Super Famicom. Parabéns pelo Vídeo! 👏👏👏👏

Revisa en Discord, a ver si lo encuentras. Debes jugarlo en un emulador que acepte roms mejorados con el chip MSU-1.

@@waltermejia4952 Es correcto. Hay un servidor en el que se habla de viejos juegos de pelea de SNES, y ahí quizá puedas encontrarlo.

deberían de hacer un remake de este para , poder corregir el disparate de que hizo microsoft que dique killer isntict que de killer instict no tiene nada

@@johneymute Hey, it's not my work, someone else did it. However, I can tell you it is all posible because of the MSU-1 technology (which to my understanding is a media compression chip that allows SNES games to have FMV and recorded music). This particular KI "hack" cannot be played on real hardware, though --only on emulators--, but plenty of other MSU-1 enhanced games are. Some nice examples are Turtles in Time with enhanced music, or Zelda with anime FMV.
@@jvega7634 well thanks for mentioning this,however if this hacked version of KI doesn’t work on real hardware then that’s very disappointing and decieving,it may work on a snes emulator,but that emulator probably works outside the snes restrictions,wich i consider as cheating from that author behind this hack,so if that author could make it real i would definitely appreciate that.
@@johneymute as far as I know (and again, I don't know the actual author myself), he abandoned the project before he could make it work on real hardware.

It isn't. As far as I know, the guy working on this abandoned the project and could not make it work on real software.
@@jvega7634 Aaaah, I tought it was possible with the SD2SNES as it supports MSU 1 audio.

I got it to work on my SNES, but it does have some glitches.

Me hubiera gustado ver Killer Instinct para la N64 y no la SNES y también que tengan las cinemáticas cómo el Arcade y los Escenarios y todo es culpa por el tiempo
Prefiero el nombre Ultra 64 qué la Nintendo 64
No sé cuál es la historia detrás de la cancelación del KI original y la posterior salida del mismo en SNES. En cualquier caso, fue una sorpresa interesante en 1995, dado el retraso del N64/Ultra 64. Fue una muy buena versión en su momento. Ciertamente las versiones de Arcade de KI (e inclusive Cruisn' USA) nos crearon muy falsas expectativas de lo que sería el N64.
Era imposible portear el juego sin perder algo, la máquina de arcade usaba un disco duro de 200 Mb creo que ni de chiste serían posibles en un cartucho casero
