Today I’m going to show you how I do my Primark nails for £2 in under 30 minutes and these nails can last up to two weeks, sometimes a bit longer if applied and looked after correctly!!
Being a mom of 2 I really struggle to find time to get my nails done professionally but this helps make me feel a little nicer when going out to events etc.
The nails I use in this video are from Primark and are called french fade 😊

Just a tip when you get new nail glue instead of using scissors to open it, if you turn the glue upside down and unscrew the bottom of it, it's the perfect way to open the glue, no mess, no scissors needed.

@@BeingMrsDudley Quick question, when I put my nails on, I saw that when I was washing my hands it soaked through the nails, any tips on that?
- ᴋ ᴇ ʀ ᴍ ɪ ᴛ getting your hands wet is the only thing that I try to avoid when possible. Obviously you need to wash your hands 🙈 but when I do washing up for example I always wear rubber gloves ❤️ sorry I have no more advice other than that xxxx

My twin sister and I LOVE these nails, we stalk up on them ALL the time. We get the Gel Effect nail polishes for £1 from Primark and paint them before gluing them on 😍 they last us 2 weeks as well and we’re very lucky that we can get 2 sets out of 1 box which means that’s £2 for 4 weeks 💁🏻♀️

Weird, my twin sister and I do exactly the same thing and her name is Jemma lmao.
quick tip that i do, you should always stick the nail to your thumb last because you use your thumb to apply the nails x

They really look lovely. Just remember if one gets loose take off straight away and allow finger to dry out well. If moisture trapped can cause a nail fungus. It did happen to me years ago. Probably much better quality now. I am a retired registered nurse so just added the little word of advice. I do love them and would wear for an occasion.
Thank you Glenda! A great bit of advice as I would have never even thought of that! Once one comes off I tend to take them all off but you are so right, they can get moist underneath is not careful.

Its a Pseudomonas, which is bacteria not fungus. But good advice. Take nail off, clean with IPA, when dry you can then apply a new nail. Clean surfaces and tools thoroughly and throw away any files used on the nail.

They look lovely, I love the primark nails for special occasions and if I'm going out. I'm defo going to get some of those clippers to cut them down for everyday wear, fab idea. I also use the separate glue you can buy in there, it's like a nail varnish pot with the brush so it's much easier to apply and make sure the whole nail is covered. My nails stayed on much longer last time I used that. X

I had purple stilettos for my sisters birthday and it lasted me around 3 weeks. we went swimming the next day and it still stayed on and was still really stuck on

i literally brought primark glue on nails and i'm only familiar with acrylics so i definitely needed this tysm

I honestly struggle so much with primark glue, it always seems to snap off in merely hours, but my friends say that it lasts for a few days for them 🥺

Oh yes I totally agree on that one! The small nails fit me perfect and I use the ones for the bigger middle fingers for my thumbs 🤣. I have the same problem as you by the sounds of it.

Thank you Olivia. I normally wait until I break one lol or one falls off and then I don’t really stick that back on. I find just soaking my nails in warm soapy water loosens them and if they’re a bit more stubborn cuticle oil. 😊 hope this helps 😊

Okay I have never got my nails done. Like never had acrylics or gel nails because personally I feel it is far too expensive. However I have been wearing primark nails for 4 years now (I am almost 16) they are so affordable and I always stock up on them. Favourite things ever❤

I love Primark nails! they have so many choices and for a good price💖 however i only wear them on special occasions cuz the glue messes my real nails up if i put them on too often oof.
Aren’t they amazing! They also have the festive ones in now!! I totally know what you mean though, they can mess up your nails if you constantly wear them and don’t give your nails air. Just like Acrylics do. Thank you so much for watching lovely ❤️ xxxx

I’m not going to lie, I have done that before.....on a few occasions 🤣. But if I do it properly I soak them in warm soapy water and they loosen, I actually find washing up a lot makes them come off. If not cuticle oil is fab for getting the stubborn ones off.

Aww Juliet that was amazing for £2, I go and have mine done so it gets me out, but my last acrylics I had new tips on because I tried to grow them out and they looked awful so I had them re done! However I have only had gel on this time and I am thinking about getting acetone when they grow and soak them off and try your way they look fab and there so pretty and I have seen so many styles before that are pretty funky. Would you say because I no you used to get yours done that this way is better for your nails? Look forward too hearing from you 😀
Hi Lisa! Yes I do get acrylics too! I mainly have them put on for when I go on holiday as with all the water and sun cream the Primark stick on nails aren’t durable enough for that. But I will say that these false nails from Primark are much better for your nails in my opinion than acrylics as you can just take them off and have a break. If you catch and tear an acrylic 🙈😫 ouchies! I’m definitely a person that likes to just mix it up a bit so I’m not dependent on having to go and get my nails done, it’s good to know I have an alternative if needed 😊❤️.

To take them off The best way is to soak them in warm soapy water (or a lot of washing up 😆) or if they’re really stubborn cuticle oil.
I would say no they wouldn’t last, they may but with all the water from the pool/sea/showers and then the suncream/tanning oil etc. I think that would Loosen them. I always get acrylic extensions for when I go on holiday just so I know they will be secure for the whole holiday 😊. Hope that helps ❤️.

I feel like its the end of the nail that causes them to come off cuz if u bend the end then it pulls them off the nail bed so if u use longer nails its easier and more likely that u will bend the end and pull them off but if u have shorter nails its less likely ur gonna bend the end and pull them.
I’m a beginner and I know this sounds dumb but if u wash your hands does it affect ur nails

Hi Hayley! I know you’re pain 🙈🤣 if I have some stubborn ones I find the beat way is to soak them in hot soapy water. Don’t use acetone as this melts the plastic nails and will actually make it harder to get them off xxx
Sorry this comment is really late but at the top of the fake nail there’s a number and there’s also 2-4 of the same one and u can match it on your hand if that makes sense💕
also, do you find it hard to shower (like wash your scalp for eg) or go to sleep with them?
Aless S when I had mine, I could do everything with them, the thing is I got the square sized ones, the longer ones might be harder to work with to do things, apart from that, they’re great!

Being Mrs Dudley I’ve found some similar called Shimmer Frenchie and there’s also some called New Frenchie which are similar but shorter. Mine are going on tonight ☺️☺️.
