  • Oh no... I wish I had not discovered this website! Way to easy to buy tools that elude me here in the USA.

Finally someone else found TME! They've been my go to guys for a while now and I've told most of the larger tool review channels about them but you're the first guy I've seen actually mention the company. Great source for Wiha and Wera especially the tools they don't market to the US, but also Beta and Bahco who make some amazing equipment.

The plastic bit on the front of the hammer is a guard for the handle shaft in case you miss whatever you are hammering on. It just gives a little protection so that the shaft doesn’t take the brunt of a bad blow. That’s what I was taught anyway.

  • @droidism

The odd driver is a 'PlusMinus'.

I have also been looking for that Wiha electrician's hammer and came to exactly the same conclusion that you did. Great job finding it at a really good price!

That weird bit is for switches n outlets, the screws are philips but you can also use a flat head because one slot is longer. You can use this type of screwdriver for a more snug fit when tightening those types of hybrid screws

Don't tell wifey but wiha makes like 100 different bits and 10 types of handles for the slimvario system. There's even torque setting and electric handles as well.

  • @BruceAllgire

That one bit looks like a PlusMinus/Pozidriv and looks almost like a Combination tip used in in the US in electrical outlets, panels, etc. I'd be interested to see if that would work. Couldn't quite tell from the video if it might work.

Why am I not finding tools on this site?
