    - POOPING TENT COMBO
    Pooping in a toilet in a tent is better than taking care of business at a dirty campground vault toilet. Just say'n from experience. The Camco toilet sells for under $90 as of March 25, 2021. The toilet does come in different capacities and configurations. FYI: It's a small toilet. If you are a large person, give it a test sit at home. No pooping of course. You can return it, if you hate it!

      The fact that Casitas are molded fiberglass, makes them exceptionally strong and water (no delamination) resistant. The furniture is actually quite sturdy and to the point. The foam backed shag carpet walls? That's disappointing. Could use two batteries and larger tanks. Maybe, a larger grey tank and a composting toilet and dump (just say'n) the black tank. I love Casita travel trailers with caveats.

  • @scotsmanofnewengland7713

    Nice video. Some concerns I have is the piping in the lower cabinet where you said you would store pots and pans and that is those pex piping will get damaged and may leak from the pots and pans Casita should have put a guard around those pipes that are exposed. Also they should have put that warning label on one of the upper doors for who wants to get down on their knees to read it. Just my opinions. Thanks again

      Casita travel trailers are incredibly well sealed against the elements. Like comparing a shoe box (fiberglass laminated) to a Tupperware container (fiberglass molded). The aerodynamic Casita is practically impervious to weather. It apparently requires only modest insulation. Casitas aren't as well insulated as a 3x more expensive Oliver Legacy Elite 2.

    These trailers are ok. But they don’t generate all that much interest from me. More of a ok, let’s move on reaction. Maybe these are just to plain and do not have any really attention grabbing features or build enhancements beyond just good enough. For example, the rear hatch doors included on the happier campers blow this one away for usefulness and utility. Plus there cube system, some style features and color choices just bring so much more to the table.

    • @RVTA
      @RVTA  Před 4 lety +1

      happiercamper.com/pages/choose-your-camper-1 $25-40k for a bare bones Happier Camper. Definitely quite a bit pricer than a Casita. I'd like to take the Traveler model for a spin. After options ... closer to $55k.

    • @americanrambler4972
      @americanrambler4972 Před 4 lety +1

      RV & Travel Adventures I was not that interested in the new bigger happier camper Traveler. Not like the interest I have in the HC1. That is the one I am comparing to the Casita. I did notice that the price zooms upward quite rapidly for the HC1 when you start adding options. But the price on the Casita rises rapidly as well with options. The Casita definitely has a lower price entry point. And you can pretty quickly see where the cost came out. But what I am going with is the way the trailer looks style wise and how well the layout works. It’s the overall utility, flexibility and configurability of the HC1 that sticks in my mind. Not the higher price point construction grade differences.
