- POOPING TENT COMBO
Pooping in a toilet in a tent is better than taking care of business at a dirty campground vault toilet. Just say'n from experience. The Camco toilet sells for under $90 as of March 25, 2021. The toilet does come in different capacities and configurations. FYI: It's a small toilet. If you are a large person, give it a test sit at home. No pooping of course. You can return it, if you hate it!

Buy your favorite toilet paper and wipes. No need for RV toilet paper. If things get sticky. Just wash out the toilet with detergent and water. A one or two minute vigorous shake should do the trick. Hopefully. #PoopTentToilet

Great detailed review! You have a very soothing voice and friendly presentation. Thank you!
You are welcome. Thanks.
Great tour you are very awesome with the narration 👌😎👍👏👏👊
By narrating, I get a several chances to record comments to get it right. Less flubs. Thank.
I live just west of Ft Worth. We’re going to be ordering our Casita soon. Looking forward to sharing our own video about it when we get it. Thank you for taking the time to make a video! Oh and ignore the negative comment. I didn’t even notice the “uuhhh’s” (as he put it) AFTER reading his comment. Some people can’t be happy unless they’re complaining. LOL. I enjoyed your video
So you are headed to Rice, Texas. Pack a lunch? I would love a Casita!
RV & Travel Adventures definitely not much out that way! LOL
@@viking_4rok385 I've been ther a couple times. You are right. Not much. Gotta head into town.
This has been the best demo I've seen on the Casitas, I love the way you say Casita, it rhymes with Fajita which I will be looking for when this video is over and maybe a couple of Doxzekeis , Danada
Cah-see-tah! Fah-hee-tahs! Works for me.
@@RVTA I drink them but I don't know how to spell them DocXXXX
Thanks for sharing.
While camping in NM last week. I saw a Casita. The owner (solo elder woman) was having a great time.
Thanks for the video
You are welcome.
My only real dislike is the carpeted walls.
It's definitely an easy way to cover the bare fiberglass shell. Adds a bit of insulation. Better than avacado high low carpet popular in the 60s.
Not crazy about the carpet on the walls (how to clean?? Disinfect??) But I realize that it insulates. Seems wiser to insulate behind an easy to clean wall, however.
@@jchi9341 Carpet cleaner? Yes, carpeting the wall is a cheap way to insulate the bare fiberglass beast.
Thank you for the tour of the Casita. I wonder how it compares to the Scamp which is American made. From what I have heard the Scamp has a waiting list to buy a new one. The used ones are selling for more than they were purchased for.
Yes, there is a waiting list for practically all RVs. You'll have to just pay the deposit and wait. I am waiting for my RV. It'll be ready in August, September, October ...
Thank you for sharing this info. I like the product and love that they’re made in Texas.
Typically, most RVs have components made overseas. The seats, shell and many other components are made in America.
Thanks for a nice walk-through.
I would forgo the microwave for an electric toaster-oven.
We’re looking to get the Independence model, with the twin beds.
We want to do a major upgrade to the solar set-up, with three panels, and two lithium batteries, plus charge controller.
You can get a shock absorber upgrade, as well. Nice if you’re going out in the back country.
Happy Trails
Finding a space for those two batteries should be fun. Congrats!
@@RVTA The second battery would go in the under bunk storage area.
I’m wondering where to get and instal an AC/DC refrigerator.
@@0HARE Would the new fridge replace an older one?
@@RVTA We don’t have an ‘older one’ at the moment.
We plan to buy a new Casita, with the five cubic foot ‘ftidge.
I will like to see it
Contact Casita. They know owners near you who'll give you a tour. Casita is located a bit south of Dallas. Are you nearby?
Thank you for your video...gracias!!
Clara you are welcome.
What a well done and knowledgeable review. I love Casita and it will probably be my first and last trailer at some future point. The 13-in TV is a lot bigger than my phone or iPad screen, so watching it wouldn't be a disappointment for me!
What, no 40 inch 4k big screen?
@@RVTA , hahaha! Native Texan here, stuck in another state for quite a few years. We never watch TV anymore. Too scary! Fort Worth is my favorite Texas City. Why? Because Joe T. Garcia's is the best Tex-Mex and the best food anywhere, period! God bless you!
@@nmr6988 Joe T. Garcia is boring. What I call ... Mild-Mex!
@@RVTA no way! I wish I could live next door. But I'd really LOVE to know your favorite place or places. I will eat there when God let's us get home!
@@nmr6988 There are so many food options. Oh so many ways to cook simple rice and beans. Ever had a rolled up pancake filled with preserves in front of a Mexico City cathedral? So many foods to try in this world. I could eat a pound of Texas sliced brisket. Pickles, onions and sides too.
Thank you very much for this beautiful review
You are welcome. Thanks.
Thanks for the video they seem cheaply made to me just my opinion be blessed
The fact that Casitas are molded fiberglass, makes them exceptionally strong and water (no delamination) resistant. The furniture is actually quite sturdy and to the point. The foam backed shag carpet walls? That's disappointing. Could use two batteries and larger tanks. Maybe, a larger grey tank and a composting toilet and dump (just say'n) the black tank. I love Casita travel trailers with caveats.
Nice video. Some concerns I have is the piping in the lower cabinet where you said you would store pots and pans and that is those pex piping will get damaged and may leak from the pots and pans Casita should have put a guard around those pipes that are exposed. Also they should have put that warning label on one of the upper doors for who wants to get down on their knees to read it. Just my opinions. Thanks again
What if something spills in the carpeted cabinets?
You clean it up. Folex?
Won't to buy a used one what do they run now
Hardly any depreciation.
The material the doors & drawers are made from MDF
You are right. Amazingly, they seem to hold up. Who would of thunk.
Can you customize the exterior with paint?
Yes, you can. Go to MAACO.
I’d ditch those cushions and get a foam or air mattress. How would you even get a sheet set over those?
My wife sews. She would make several sheet sets. That's the plan and I'm sticking to it.
Can a 13ft casita be ordered? I think they stopped making them.
I would give them buzz and say howdy!
Jesus, saludos desde Puerto Rico. La Casita que tiene Twin Beds, cuanto es el precio? Lam enviaran a Puerto Rico?. La estufa la quiero con el horno integrado aunque yo tengo mi nevera, estufa, y otros opciones que no tendrian que integrarlas en la Casita.
Puedes cominicar con Casita. Precios tipicos en 2019.. $20k.

Gracias!
Ty, I love the Casita, but dislike the carpet on the walls. I have allergies
Yes, I wish they would find a better way to cover the fiberglass inside.
Chinchilla?
😀👍👍🇺🇸
what does the axle capacity refer to?
From what I understand. Axle capacity is how much weight the axle can safely support. That includes the RV plus items in storage. I would contact the manufacturer (leave message) and they should respond.
I would want no Bath. Just an outdoor shower. More sleep space inside. Nice presentation. The carpet walls and cabinets are a “NO”.
At the time the main unit in this video was selling for $19k. It was ordered, but not picked up. A deal?
@@RVTA with bath?
These look nice but no one has ever commented on how well they hold heat in freezing weather and how well they stay cold in hot weather. Anyone?
Casita travel trailers are incredibly well sealed against the elements. Like comparing a shoe box (fiberglass laminated) to a Tupperware container (fiberglass molded). The aerodynamic Casita is practically impervious to weather. It apparently requires only modest insulation. Casitas aren't as well insulated as a 3x more expensive Oliver Legacy Elite 2.
@@RVTAThank you for the reply....was just wondering how well they did compared to the Black series off road trailers. I know they can't be that good but just wanted a comparison because if I'm ever to have a camper these are the only ones within my reach.
@@dalephillips8250 This is not an off-road travel trailer.
Affordable? Pffffff......those things are pretty high dollar units for their size.
Don't get me wrong, they are very well made and high quality but they are very expensive if your talking about price per square foot.
In comparison to the majority of molded fiberglass travel trailers. Quite affordable.
40k for what?
The bed? If you are taller than 5'10"....good luck
A Casita typically sells for a little over $20k.
These trailers are ok. But they don’t generate all that much interest from me. More of a ok, let’s move on reaction. Maybe these are just to plain and do not have any really attention grabbing features or build enhancements beyond just good enough. For example, the rear hatch doors included on the happier campers blow this one away for usefulness and utility. Plus there cube system, some style features and color choices just bring so much more to the table.
happiercamper.com/pages/choose-your-camper-1 $25-40k for a bare bones Happier Camper. Definitely quite a bit pricer than a Casita. I'd like to take the Traveler model for a spin. After options ... closer to $55k.
RV & Travel Adventures I was not that interested in the new bigger happier camper Traveler. Not like the interest I have in the HC1. That is the one I am comparing to the Casita. I did notice that the price zooms upward quite rapidly for the HC1 when you start adding options. But the price on the Casita rises rapidly as well with options. The Casita definitely has a lower price entry point. And you can pretty quickly see where the cost came out. But what I am going with is the way the trailer looks style wise and how well the layout works. It’s the overall utility, flexibility and configurability of the HC1 that sticks in my mind. Not the higher price point construction grade differences.
@@americanrambler4972 The Casita travel trailers are quite well built. The fiberglass egg should last quite a while. As for the frame?
Can't handle the "uhhhs" sorry dude
I will strive to be better.
