I tried a Bugera Infineum amp several years ago. Can't remember what model it was but it sucked bad. The one in this video sounds a ton better. Maybe that's why they stopped making them for a few years to figure out how to make them sound good.

@@bigchiefsmackaho387 I've had my V22 combo for about 8 years and wasn't even new when I bought it, never had any issues. They are a budget brand so there will be duds out there, but also some pretty awesome sounding amps when they are gotten right.

Bugera is a seriously criminally underrated amplifier manufacturer.
Despite the older models' power supplies being IEDs (or something like that lol), they still delivered a good-sounding product for a very affordable price!
(This next part might get me some backlash but eh, it's a consequence of voicing one's opinion lol)
I actually sold my old Dual Rectifier a few years ago to acquire a 333XL and ended up using the left-over money from the DR to invest in other music gear; personally, I couldn't for the life of me get a decent tone out of the Mesa whereas I set up the 333 the way I knew how to dial it in and it put the Mesa's tone to shame, in my opinion.

The Trirec went away because the profit margin was not there for the model. I own one, and absolutely love it. They are not huge on the aftermarket either, people just aren't getting off of them. Bugera had major quality issues on early models. But, pretty much anything in the Infinium line is good to go.

Finally got myself a trirec after looking for a long time and I agree. They're great and definitely do the dual rec thing. $450 plus shipping, criminally under-rated. The trirec model was hand-built, so that's why the profit margins made them discontinue, and I believe they settled out of court with Mesa over the Magician. I have the 333XL and a 6260 as well, and I happen to fuckin hate Peavey and Mesa so it's a beautiful thing imo lol

The Infinium range from Bugera is actually amazing for the ridiculously low price, decent build quality, a tone totally comparable to their full priced counterparts, and most importantly the Infinium technology that (basically) automatically sets up the BIAS at any moment, which lets you very easily change any broken tube, and most importantly, just plug in and out any tube you want in it and do crazy pairings that could not be possible otherwise! It also makes it the perfect mod platform if you're into that, or just lets you wait for money to upgrade it if you're part of the broke ones like me haha. I highly recommend em for any guitar player on a budget that wants an actual full on tube amp!

I talked about this with Warbringer's rhythm guitarist who told me that he recorded the entire World Torn Assunder album with a Bugera 120 head and loved it! (the 5150 copy) I have the 2x12 combo version of it, got it used but in good condition for 350 bucks (cheaper than some pedals lol) and let me tell you it totally delivers! And it stands up to his brothers that cost 10x more! Obviously not as clear and a little muddier but the sound quality difference is so tiny compared to the price difference, it's honestly shocking

Max vol 9n 5W and 1W setting, with about 3 gain, set the ts to a small vol boost and small gain boost and you can flip between Malcolm on a Gretsch and Angus on the SG with the schaeffer radio system. If it was $2k, Id still buy it. Its fantasy land for the home guitar player. Always juggling the line between volume and tone, or only ever having one set of EQ. Please do it for every home metal guitarist across the world. After all, that's what the Swedes do in older times right :) Bring the crushing sounds of death :)
