Is there a special app you have to use? Or can you just plug straight into your phone and use your phones camera?

Thanks for your question! We used a USB Microphone cable with the Apple “Camera Adapter.” We also used the camera app, but there are a variety of ways to record audio and video on your devices so use your favorite!
