I make my own with fenugreek, rosemary, any tea(to help with shedding), honey, aloe, flaxseeds, essential oils, olive oil, grapeseed oil, melted shea butter and coco butter. With the oils and butters, no dryness.😊
Btw i use a good bit of oils and butters. I don't get dryness, so i don't personally have to prepoo, but i do condition afterward.

I also make African black soup fenugreek shampoo. I add sweet almond oil and peppermint essential oil. I also add a bit of apple cider vinegar. Great recipe! Thanks for sharing!

You could blend the leftover seeds from the fenugreek water, strain that and use it as your pre-poo either alone, it has a lot of slip or mixed in with your suave conditioner. I'm sure you must have used the juice from blended fenugreek seeds before.

Can I do the clay mask before or after I use this shampoo
Yesss I’m glad I took hints from your ingredients but I used the Raw African soap I cut it up first then I tried the method of grating the soap and the soap I used was very soft and it left No particles behind it melted very well then I used the other ingredients in the soap but I didn’t have Glycerin so this will be on my list the next time… Sandra great Job on your help for our hair…

Put 2 tablespoons of powder fenugreek in a bowl and then add 2 1/2 cups of hot water. Cover and let the mix sit for 1 hour. After 1 hour drain the water off the mix and use as a base for your shampoo.
