Follow us on our roadtrip adventure through Northern Europe’s best-kept secret: Estonia. Situated in the Baltics, Estonia is famous for its wonderful bogs, the calm Baltic Sea, and its large swaths of pine forests. We drove 4000km around the country and explored it from east to west, including its Baltic Islands Saaremaa and Hiiumaa.

My great grandma is born in Sorva (Sõrve säär, Saaremaa) very close to the lighthouse. They were taken to Germany during World War 2 and their home was completely destroyed. She is now 86 and has been suffering from Alzheimer for about 7 years now, but still always talks about how much she loved this place.
ESTONIA is most beautiful country in Europe 💙 Pane like, kui oled EESTLANE 😍
as an Estonian I have to say, it is the best travel video about Estonia that I have ever seen! I have personally not visited some of the places that you have been to, so it's great to see something new about my country, especially from the perspective of a foreigner. I really appreciate our country having so much natural beauty left and I hope that it will forever be this way.
Thank you :) Glad you enjoyed it!
Hidden gem. Specially hat-off to administration for providing amazing facilities for tourists
I'm estonian and you guys have seen more of Estonia than I have, and I've lived here for my whole life which is 20 years. Great video
Maybe this inspires you to explore your backyard ;)
@@LucasTJahn You make videos very interesting. Can you please make 1 for Belarus as well? Thanks
Stand Up and go Discover the Country ! lol
Hey Karen gertu
Yes great video, would love to come visit one day. Love from Denmark 😊🐇
I am a Sri Lankan living in Estonia. It is a beautiful country with good people.
Hi sir how to come thear
I don't comment often. I saw your video of Australia. It was so wonderful. But this? A true gem among travel videos. I love what you are doing. Such fantastic energy comes from your content. I wish you good luck with your next journeys. Keep it up, I can't wait for the next videos.
Thanks a lot for taking the time to leave a comment! This is much appreciated :)
I'm glad that Estonia is finally getting the attention it deserves!
As a Finn, I just love Estonia 💖
I love Finland too.
Hello how are you
Yes, for the cheap booze...
Nothing beats family I guess - It's same for me with Finland as Estonian.
@@witlof5492 Twin of Estonia, with their "bird-sing language", Latvia seems better serving lately.
I love living in Estonia.

A beautiful country. My father left his mother father and brother there and came to Australia in the early 1940's. He had been living in the UK before the war. I never met my grandparents or uncle but got to meet my first cousin in 2013 and since then I've been back once. I love everything about Estonia and would love to live there one day.
I love my country ,I haven’t been at home for 10 years ,I’m in tears 😭
Beautiful Estonia.
I was fortunate to visit Estonia. I saw Tallinn but mostly stayed on Saaremaa, near triigi harbor, near leisi village.
It was one of the most beautiful places I've ever been to. The people were so nice. I also enjoyed the food there.
This video is awesome... it makes me miss Estonia very much.
🇪🇪
Glad you liked it, and hope it gave you reason to return :)
Lucas and Anna - thank you for another wonderful, extremely well filmed, edited and presented travel video. Beautiful Estonia is truly much more than only Tallinn.
Road trip across Estonia is high on my bucket list. One day😌
I only hear Estonia during Olympics and other international competitions. But with this episode, Lucas just brought this country's beauty and rich history at my doorstep. Danke!
My wife is Estonian and we visit whenever we can from Spain, which is definitely not enough! An excellent video. Thank you.
Estonia the Baltic Tiger - also very good doc. movie in YT. Highly recommended!
Truly breathtaking. Estonia is beautiful and you are right it will not be a secret any more people will be eager to visit Estonia. Your videos are top-notch, keep up the good work.
Thanks a lot, Brigid :)
Yes love this travel video from Estonia, would like to visit now 😊♥️🌻
Truly a beautiful country. I first got attracted to Estonia through hearing a symphony by Estonian composer Eduard Tubin - the Idyllic Symphony. (#4)
Wow, you really captured the beauty of Estonia. I was born and raised in Estonia, now living in Florida last 20 years.
You made a good choice, where is Europe and where is US, years in advance.
tule ja naudi kodumaad, aga Florida on hea paik elamiseks, omast kogemusest tean
@@karilamp558 Ma alati tahtsin elada soojal maal, palmide all ookeani kaldal. Floridas on kõik see olemas, aga Eesti eluga hoian ka ennast kursis kuna õed-vennad elavad seal.
jah - kurb - vaid meenutused Sool. Nii see Eesti oma reeturitest tühjaks voolab, kuni siia jäävad vaid viimased "mohikaanlased".
@@mattiashiiumaal7851 eks keegi peab ikka Eestimaale ka jääma 🙂
Wow !!. Estonia is one of the most beautiful country in Europe.

I didn't know if Estonia are so Beautiful! wow! after Covid I plan visit Estonia
Never !
This video is criminally underrated
estonia is best country always!!!
Exploring Estonia's islands like Saaremaa and Hiiumaa is a serene escape.
This is a lovely travel piece! So much of the landscape - the bogs, marshes and misty mornings - have an "edge of the world" feel. The forests are magical.
Thank you! Estonia definitely has a magical charm to it :)
Very well done! I just can't imagine who the 73 people were who gave it a thumbs down and what they were thinking!
After watching your video , I'll surely visit Estonia , keep up with the good work 👍
2018 me and my wife made a road trip Sofia to Toila (Estonia), without researching anything up front. Everything was a nice surprise for us. Drove 8km for 15 days, but was worth it! Visit Estonia! Love from Bulgaria. And amazing video

I am an armchair traveller and I just love your videos - you always show the really interesting parts of the countries you visit besides all the hiking and camping etc. you do makes it so much fun to watch - well done you two !
Thank you so much for your support :)
wow, Lucas, bro the camera work you have done is literally world class!!
Тhis is my country, тhank you for the video.
Ok, so I'm Estonian, quite young though, but goddamn, only being 15 minutes into the video I already love it, the way you narrate is so relaxing that I can't help but be entranced, seeing all this new stuff about the country you live in is really interesting and at the same time really fun, great vid, keep it up.

Thank you for this film. I've been to Estonia a few times, but you've shown more beauty than I'll ever be able to experience.
Nice pics from Estonia - Thanks for that. I visited Estonia several times also on camping holiday.
Warm greetings from Bavaria.
This is a magnificent production. Estonia looks amazing.
Most likely the best Estonian travel vlog i have seen 👍
❤❤❤
One of the best travel videos of Estonia that I have ever seen. Thank you for showing everyone how beautiful my homeland is
Lucas, I'm a big fan of personal travel videos. I watch hundreds of them each year (and I work in the communications field and have commissioned many videos over the years). That said, this is the single best travel video I've ever seen. First, you have amazing angles and creative shots that, I assume, you and your wife must have staged as I saw no crew travelling with you. Second, you made it all seem so effortless that, despite the many challenges of creating this video, I felt completely relaxed as I watched. Third, you took me so many places that are normally very difficult for the average person to visit. Mission accomplished. Bravo!!!! (The only time I panicked was when you were having to back out of that cave ... that was scary.) Keep up the good work. I'm a new subscriber.
Hi Todd, thank you so much for your kind words! And yes, you are right - we did all of this ourselves, no crew involved, just a lot of dedication :) If you thought this cave was frightening, do not watch our documentary on Botswana. The caves we visited there were much more intense :D In any case, very glad to have you on board!
Lucas T. Jahn I’ll be watching your Botswana video this evening. I can’t resist that build up. 😉
@@toddbonin6926 Enjoy it ;)
I was watching videos of EStonia for years and years ....I can tell urs is the best by Far .good job ( N.from Chicago)

i'll be your guide
@@nexoq4914 hopefully..I was there 4 years ago ...I love it even if without any interaction with locals 🤭☺️
@@atakornazim5042 Well i can organize some meetings along with the usual walking around.
It was nice to have you at the bear hide. Sorry that the sprained ankle crippled so much Anna's vacation.
Really nice and comprehensive overview of much of Estonia. Love the film:)
PS. Vilsandi has 10 cars and 30 humans and is totally worth visiting thou. Best option for a day trip would have been to walk to the island, explore the island and the catch a boat back.
Thanks for having us, we enjoyed it very much! The excitement was intense! An a sprained ankle happens when you don't pay attention to where you step on a muddy trail ;)
This is such a detailed documentation of Estonia. Loved every bit of it. I really like the documentation style.
Thanks! We really try to do a different kind of documentation and love that people enjoy it :)

@@LucasTJahn You deserve it. :)
You´ve made a really beautiful documentary about Estonia. Makes me want to visit this little country.
Wow, a beautiful glimpse of the country. So much untouched nature where other species can live with little interference from humans! Breathtaking.
Love it, I visit quite often Latvia and Lithuania, at least once a year, and I always try to get some days apart to visit a new place every time I go there, so much to discover.
Well, there's argument going on that Estonia and Latvia being twin countries - just speak differently.
A great peek into what Estonia holds. Every aspect captured beautifully 😍
I'd really like to go to Estonia again. I've only been in Tallinn but I can't wait to see more of the beautiful country. Thank you so much for this amazing video. It was definitely worth checking it. Amazing quality as well. Cheers from Belgium!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it. We are just working on an Estonia travel guide that will showcase the highlights of Estonia. Stay tuned for that :)

Thankyou for giving me my Estonian "fix" for 2020. Maybe I can travel back there when the virus is under control.
I enjoyed your documentary so much! Thank you 🙏 so much for sharing your trip with us. I was in Estonia in 2019 and I loved it so much that I booked a longer trip in 2020 and because of Covid-19 of course I had to cancel. This documentary made me so happy. I’m a camper, hiker and you went to places I will probably never see as an American tourist in Estonia with limited time. I can tell you did so much work on this. The camera work is just stunning! I loved your adventures in all those gorgeous places! So wonderful! 🙏😊
