Saying the sound is tinny is way off base. These are one of the top sellers due to its sound quality. You failed to mention what kind of speakers they are and where the speakers are located. You provided no more information than anybody could find on Google in less than 10 seconds. That's probably why only half a % of people that have seen your video gave it a like. Fun facts to help make you smarter: this has a 1.65 inch, 4 watt speaker. It's identical to the echo dot speaker. The sound comes out of the vents along the bottom of the screen.

Trying to find out if echo 5 connects with August lock. And 2nd...does it connect with lights, thermostat, sensors...etc. or do i need a separate hub for any of these?
Yes, it connects to lights, devices, etc, with a smart plug for each, and a designated name for each.

Can you set these up and connect to wifi without using the touchscreen display? only ask, as I'm vision impaired, so unless it speaks words and characters as I'm entering wifi and Amazon details, these are actually Echo No Gos unless a friend relative, support worker Etc, sets them up.

ps: The main thing is Amazon's (Music Capacity). If you were to ask "Echo-5" Alexa to play "(Faun-Egil Saga), I bet it won't play! Faun is not a North American band. Try it, see what happens.

I believe you are talking about the home screen rotation. If so, you go to settings then home and clock, then home content and at the bottom of the list select “rotate continuously” off.

Hi mate does this link with the alexa app I have set up on my phone I've just got this to go with my govee lyra as my Google seems to struggle with the lamp
You do the setup on the actual Echo Show’s display, but then you can still change some settings etc. like any normal Echo in the Alexa app.
I noticed that the time kept bouncing between at 24-hour clock and a 12-hour clock during the recording. Does that still happen?
I’m pretty sure he changed the setting halfway through. If yours is on 24hr and you want it on 12hr or vice versa go to settings then home and clock then select 24-hour clock

can't you use a usb c battery bank to charge?
I don't have any Echo devices, all I really need it to do is adjust my thermostat, turn on some lights and check my video doorbell and security cameras without having to use my phone or tablet. I have much better devices for watching videos, movies , tv and listening to music. Would the Echo Show 5 be perfect for that? Should also point out that I don't video chat or care how good or bad the camera is. Thanks
Yes I think it would be pretty perfect for that, just don’t get the echo spot, it is more expensive for not as good of a device.

It does not have apple music or any of those subscriptions but you can use Bluetooth to cast music to it unless the app has a built-in cast but then you can cast to it from Pandora or iHeart Radio and stuff like that or you can stream music from that device the Echo Show 5 to a Bluetooth speaker so then it sounds better I'm not saying it doesn't sound good I'm just saying so it does sound better

I’m not quite sure what you mean? But if you are saying it will read out what you touch, go to settings then to accessibility and turn off voice view screen reader. 😀

We like the audio quality of the Echo Show 5 . . . Until . . . you pair a bluetooth device, or an Amazon remote. After disconnecting the bluetooth, the built in speaker looses it’s fidelity and sounds very tinny. To return the fidelity to the built-in speakers, I have to unplug the power and plug it back in. Also, when I paired the Amazon remote, the mic function did not work; all the other features worked. I had to pair the Amazon remote to my Echo Dot, and then the remote updated itself and the mic function would work on the Echo Show 5. I may just have a faulty device.
If I get it to play say BBC Radio 2 does it show the same information that it would show on a DAB, such as what show it is, what the song is etc?
And also does it have an always on display?
