My friend, you are with us at all times and when you are indispensable. The most beautiful thing in life is you and the most beautiful thing is for nature, and leave it for the soul. May God make you happy ⚘❤
Thanks so much dyaa. Hope you are having a great week.
Speaking of Step 2. Remembering Crazy Neighbor from another Canadian camping channel. Really enjoyed your video, Joshua!
Yes I heard about crazy neighbor. So sad. Fun watching him with Steve
The camping sounds are a feast for the senses. The rain, your burger sizzling on the stove, the saw and the chopping of the wood. The cracking open a cold beer. Sounds like heaven.
Everything or anything out in nature is good for the soul 😌 ✨️
Thanks so much Julie. It's so fun coming out here
I absolutely love that camp setup
I love your videos, Josh, Il watch this one later tonight, but just wanted to comment to let you know I’m still here watching and to boost you in the algorithm. Keep warm. I guess we’re getting a bunch of snow overnight into Friday here in New Brunswick.
Hey thanks. Ya heard that to. I thought it was spring but guess not
Glad that tree fell the other way my friend!
Me too! That's was a little scary
For anyone not up on the metric system, 80mm is equal to 0.172 cubits or 0.78 hands.
Thanks for the clarification! Now, could you please provide a number for Pi out to 39 decimal places?
I always appreciate a good rain/camp video. Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it!
That's a neat little lamp/stove. Thanks for another great vid bud.
Always upbeat, always a pleasure to hang out for a bit!
You rock Josh.
Never down went in the bush. 👍🔥
Being in the desert (Phoenix, Arizona, USA), I sometimes plan camping trips specifically during rain storms, just to enjoy them lol. Nifty little lantern/stove... something easy to carry in nice weather where you don't need it as a heat source, just for some illumination and quick cooking. If a tree falls in the forest, you definitely heard it! The force of nature sure is an attention getter! I'm done with chores at home, got a short and long trip planned coming up soon. Always good to get away and glad you keep finding time to do so, too. Cheers! Pete in Arizona - KI7LIL
Ya the stove lantern is really cool. Great for summer when you don't want a hot fire
Nice one, Joshua. 👍
I've a lot of Cabelas gear. Lots of hunting, boating and camping stuff. I've had some of it 20+years.
I bought a -15°F prima loft sleeping bag for the truck incase I get stranded. It's fantastic! Rarely have to zip it.
Peace ✌️
Cabelas got a lot of great stuff. And it's all in one place. lol. easy to shop until you drop in here.
Another excellent video from 'JG Wilderness Productions.' You captured the mood of the falling rain, lantern and fire light perfectly. On a side note, to keep costs down would it be cheaper to lay another tarp over the old one, perhaps a bit thicker and let the first layer take the friction from the wood beams?...just a thought. Keep those cameras rolling Josh!
ya sounds like a plan to me. I was thinking the same. I'm finished back there until fall. See how it is when October rolls around again.
Thanks for the nice sharing, your support is very valuable to me. 🌿🤝🏕️
Chill video. You're the man Josh. Cheers!
Appreciate it! Thanks so much 🔥
Hi just watching your video, I like these videos, I like what you was cooking, I am from London in the UK,
Thank you so much 🙂
The tarp is a good idea, it extended the dry area so you can sit or walk around without inside the cabin all the time, consider extend the tarp with a roof in future?
I'm thinking about a porch area but will see. Everything has to wait until fall again.
Hi Josh what a Gorgeous Beautiful Awesome Amazing Scenery love 💕 the Cabin it’s Awesome 😊
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks so much. Have a great week
this is my favorite bushcraft camp in all of CZcams land. i love your little log shelter. thank you SOOO MUCH for making more videos at this location. i appreciate you.
Thank you very much! This is a nice place to camp. Love it back here
Nice... your support is very valuable to me..Thanks bro👍👍
Welcome 👍
I love that little kerosene light, heater, cooker. What a great, simple idea
ya it's a nice little lantern cooker. Be great in the summer heat when you don't want a full on fire going.
Loved the sound of the rain and the wind. Happy that the tree didn’t fall on the cabin. Great video!
ya the rain was nice for a change. I don't always get a chance to camp in the rain.
I like it that someone has made a modern version of the Hobo Stove, never seen them down here 🇦🇺 but I think their a brilliant idea!😉👍
Stay safe & warm, cheers from Oz.
Ya it's a handy little modern stove. Be great in the summer heat not sitting by a hot fire. 🔥
GOOD VIDEO AS ALWAYS AND THAT TREE FALLING WOULD OF MADE ME POOP MY PANTS LOL - GOD BLESS AND SEE YA ON THE NEXT ONE
Lol. I might have turtled a little. 🤣
Good video as always! The big burger was delicious looking! I seen those stove/lanterns. Think I'll get one now.
Split foam pool noodles or foam pipe insulation makes a great pad for your beams and rafter to prevent wear holes in your tarps
The stove is a dandy little cooker. Be great in the summer heat 🔥. Yes thanks for the tip with the noodle. Be easy and on the cheap
Esqueci de dizer. Sou do Brasil 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
Nicely done!
Thank you! Cheers!
Nice cabin ! 👌 THANKS. Alan 🇨🇱
Thanks for watching!
Hello Joshua ! I’m lovin that cute and tiny cast iron stove! And of course I love that breakfast!
You stay safe my friend . Have a great week . 😊👍🏻
Cheer Rosie. Hope your having a great week.
must be a nice experience
It was. Always fun in the bush.
@@JoshuaGammon looks like it
I always enjoy your videos Joshua. I really like your little cabin getaway. I’ve built one in the bush near our home. A nice little place to seek some solitude. Thanx for sharing your adventures
ya for sure. everyone needs a place to go hide and just enjoy the nature time to time.
I do like the conversation. It’s good to hear what you are trying to do and the explanations for why you do those things. I take it you’re a Cabellas fan. 😊 A split wood roof would be nice about now. Make shakes out of anything. 😁
Like your video, your burger 🍔😋 looks delicious.
Cracking set up 😊
My favorite part of bread is the crusts (ends). Best part of bread. Lightly toasted though on both sides makes the best burger IMO. EDIT: Just wondering, do you crush your eggs after you crack and put them into the pan. I do. My Nana's both of them said you had to crush them so that Witch's could not use them for evil spells / potions. I am 42 I still crush them up before putting them in the compost.
I never heard of that story before. Very interesting. Some time I break them some times not.
Loved the video
Another great vlog Josh, these are so chilled and relaxing to watch , thanks for sharing 👍🏽😎
Glad you like them! Cheers JP
Very nice cosy camp. Lovely little cabin...its got all yiu need, inexpensive too. I would love to spend a rainy night in there. Cheers
Ya it's a simple build but strong and little material required
How’s it going Josh!
Winter seemed short this year as far as vids went.
Thank you for the content!
ya the winter is not normal this year. very short. Didn't even get a time to snow shoe once this year. scary really.
I like this video
thanks so much Denis.
Awesome video!
Thanks!
Love the video
Your the man! Love your videos.cheers
Nothing like a nice cheeesburger
That is a cool lantern! What type of fuel does it run? Very nice trip. Thanks for sharing my friend😎
Kerosene works Herb. But what every works in a normal lantern should work here. Have a good one
I so look forward to your videos I'm glad you made another one I enjoy them very much please try to make them more often the very enjoyable thank you
Thank you, I will Jim
Nice little lantern !!!! Good video 👍
Thanks 👍
It's a real asmr to sleep with this beautiful sound 😍👌🔥🤘❤️🍻
Great video, lots of rain 🌧
Maybe something like a split water noodle on the log woukd prevent it wearing through ?
Love the sound of the rain especially on a tarp roof
Ya yes. Thanks for the tip.
We missed seeing your videos, the “heel” of the bread is the best, in my opinion, better than a bun, 😂bet that tasted some good! Nova Scotia here, heels for the win! Keep the videos coming ! Btw, love hearing the rain on the roof, childhood memories, we have a steel roof so very familiar, 😊
I'm will ya on the heals. I grew up in Upper Sackville. Just over here in NB now. 🔥👍
Nice trip Josh! Cheers!
Thanks! 👍
Great video as always , and the food looked tasty ..... btw Nice jacket .
Thank you 😋. Got to eat good out there lol
Stay safe out there Josh!! Man I love that fort you've built. We have no forested crown land where I am in Southern Alberta. I'm envious!!!
I lived in Alberta for a bit. I remember having to drive to the mountains or near slave Lake to get into the woods. It's open out your way
@JoshuaGammon I have a provincial park near me thats a good get away but can't build stuff in a park. The mountains are about 3 hours from me so....not so bad.
@@angrybird9925 for sure. The mountains are beautiful 😊. Miss Jasper
Î love the cabin and the vidéo Josh
Thanks 😊
As explicações devem ser legais, pena que não tem legenda em português. Gostei do fogãozinho.
Thank you for sharing! I always enjoy a night ont the woods with the sound of rain. BTW what is the kettle you're using?
The kettle is from Pomoly
@@JoshuaGammon Thanks
nice
Do you own the land? If not, how are you able to harvest trees, etc.
PS: thanks for the great video👍I'm really getting to love your channel
Thanks glad you like the video 🔥👍
Do you own this land or does a friend own it? Just wondering how you can build on it? In the US we have a "leave only footprints and take only pictures" rule for public land. Just curious.
Where is the door??? This would be the first I would make... to keep the cold outside...
It's coming soon.
👌🏻👍🏻🤟🏻
Where did you get that awesome cooking set?
The pots pan are outbound I think. I bought them like 20 yrs ago. Lol. Still going strong
What knife did you use to baton the wood for your wood stove?
Mora knife. I think the bushcraft one.
Do you leave that wood stove back there all the time?
Yup. I'll take it out for the summer. But leave it there all winter
Where did u get dry wood from
Some was already in side from my last winter camp
@@JoshuaGammon very clever of you
💜🤍💝♥️💙😇❤️💖❣️
qiero irme a vivir contigo

You spent all that time building a decent cabin and left the roof. Spend some time and effort on building a decent roof
The way the wall are I didn't want to have a lot of weight on the roof. Logs are not water proof anyways so just a light tarp was the middle ground to achieve both my goals
A heavy duty tarp, not those flimsy things nailed to the supports of the “roof” and then covered with spruce/fir/cedar boughs would be the best idea for a not so strong “roof” structure. Tent staking a roof system is not a good idea.
It’s a great little place in the woods though!! Cozy.
The tarp roof is perfectly decent and functional.
I take it you’re Canadian not you are ay
Yes. Canadian
