yes this video is another one of those enjoyable video's with all that gogeous scenery and the owls were just awesome and very noisy, good set up josh the 2 apartment tent. at the end there where you were filming the river I was fairly certain those black dots by the river moved & disappeared - perhaps river otters? thanks Josh good watching. cheers.

Hey Winter is starting to show signs of spring now. Snow is starting to finally go away but there's still more than last year. Lol... ya Maritimer got me on IG with a ATV loaded down with wood a few weeks back, it was funny. Thought of it when I was cutting up the wood.

Snow! G'day Josh, have to admit I wondered what you were doing chopping up that rotten log, great idea. Maybe a tea strainer for the drinking snow? Loved the pack up camp.
lol Ya I figured that would threw some off what I was doing. The punky wood doesn't catch fire easy and than add the snow and you have a good base for the stove. The snow was at least 12" deep were I was. Didn't need to to melt to the ground.

Great Video! Those Owls were a little freaky, almost sounded like a Baby to me...kinda scary. You never mention, but you do have something for protection dont you? Stove is a T1. The tent is great quality and it's really cozy, enough room to do what you need if it's stormy outside.

Seems as though ground would be very cold. Stay home bye the fire.
The ground is fine with the foam pad.
Cutting the trees by the root would have saved you one less tree to cut down. Just saying 😘
The wood is wet this time of year by the root. Doesn't burn very good. Stay high and dry 👍
