How about when Joe’s strap comes off his bass at 3:26? Cory immediately notices and picks up the slack, filling in until Joe is able to fix it and make a quick amp adjustment. Great teamwork!
The fact that this crowd recoding sounds good while being horribly skewed towards Cory goes to show how fucking good and consistant Cory Wong is. Also great saves and catches all around when something doesnt work: IE Joe's amp on Dean Town

I went late show friday-so much fun for my first vulf show!. I was facing stage right by the keyboards and barely could hear Cory all night. Lots of bass though, not that there is anything wrong with that! Great musicians through and through and they looked like they were having a blast performing!

And helps to piece together the sometimes buried on the album rhythm lines more distinctively for the guitar players

The sound is Cory and the Vulfpeck backing band :) That's the problem when first row and in front of the guitar amp.
That’s crazy he signed that kids pick guard. I bet they are really cool kids. I also bet they play welcome to vulf in there band.
I talked to those kids who got the pick guard signed and they'll play music together. Two of them play in a cover band together I believe it was keyboard player and drummer! Cool stuff!

Did the mix sound like that in person as well? Seems so unbalanced with Cory at the forefront and everything else in the background, the playing is stellar from everybody as always but it's hard to pick up on what everybody is doing with this mix
This almost feels like a crowd recording (not SBD) and whoever recorded it was RIGHT on-axis with Cory's amp and just getting a face-full of guitar all night.
I was front row center and slightly to the right for this show, I could actually barely hear Corey's amp and Theo's guitar was SUPER loud for me, interesting how much the balance differed based on position but maybe it's just the front row and the sound is more balanced further back
@@TylerLeeJonesI must have been right by you because I had the same experience. I was write in line with Theo’s amp so it was really loud and Cory’s guitar was pretty quiet.

Having been at MSG, I'd say they picked up right where they left off. The main difference was no Richie Rodriguez, whose percussion work at MSG was extra special.
they also killed it at bonnaroo!
in my opinion bonnaroo surpassed MSG but i might be crazy idk that version just has some amazing renditions
