This is a fan edit of the original livestream to add fan footage to give some alternative camera angles and to correct some camera switching errors during the concert. It was originally going to just be a reconstruction the first 2/3 of 1612 as it didn’t make it to the original livestream. Thankfully when Levitate uploaded the livestream, 1612 was intact. I still went ahead and made this version since there is some nice footage from the fans’ perspective being up close to the band at times. Thank you to everyone who uploaded their content or provided me their videos in private! I hope you enjoy this reunion of #Vulfpeck for their #Schvitz Concert as they continue the voyage of the Hillclimbers!

Joey is a beast on that sax. People need to recognize.
That solo he took at the end of LAX was just outstanding. So much musical sensibility, so many different grooves, always ahead of where I thought he was heading
In the Schvitz album release livestream, Theo said the first time he heard Joey played sax, it scared the crap out of him!
Jack is actually a fantastic drummer. Him and Theo both kill it on the drums on their own respective way.
But Jack sometimes needs Joe's help getting him out of messes. 🤣

I am currently 68 years young 😂… I’ve seen a lot of live music in my life!! Lived about 1/2 hour from Winterland south of San Francisco…. Many Grateful Dead shows! Saw THIS band at the Greek Theater a few years ago and was BLOWN away!!! The talent & energy was unlike anything I have EVER witnessed!!! 😊👍🏻☮️

Mike Shea's huge grin as soon as he perfectly hits the beat is so fucking priceless. I was in this crowd and I honestly believed he was just the Levitate ice staff until he twirled the drumstick right before he started playing and I was like "oh he's in on it".
Precisely! If you were at soundcheck, though, you would have seen Mike with the band in a very friendly manner, especially with Theo as seen on the bonus at the end of the film.
I was so worried as I saw Antwan's hands raised as if to say "Do you even know what's next ?".
Then nothing but hype flowed through my body as he hit the transition. Genuine and absolute delight.
OMG I am beside myself loving & grooving to this band!!! How did I not know of them until recently??? Ah well, I do now🙏🏼💕🎉

Theo met Wim Hof?!!! Two of the most COOLer than cool (ICE COLD!) Dudes I "know". This concert prelude is not only engagingly written, it is blowing and expanding my miiiiiiind. I'm just getting in to cold showers/baths, and this revelation and connection of two great inspirations to me is like a polar plunge to my very SOUL (and I'm a warm blooded Canadian, eh). Funk On, I gotta say GO! GO!

Well. They did borrow some Zappa material. And, Antwain seems to be mimicking some of Napoleon Brock Murpy. So, at least the closest thing to Zappa that we are going to get. It's a nice compliment though.

Notice how they barely played any songs from Schvitz. I don't think they'd translate well to a show. I don't even think they translate well to good songs but that's just my opinion.
They didn’t play anything from the Schvitz album because it wasn’t recorded yet 😂 they recorded the album 3 months after this concert.
