Resident Evil 9 was rumored to be scheduled for October 2025, but I don't really see Resident Evil and GTA being direct competitors, because the Resident Evil games have been a much more linear experience than GTA games, and they have very different design styles / aesthetics.

I can promise you that online gameplay will not be free to play, I guarantee there will be a monthly subscription you’ll have to pay in order to play online. I’m sure GTA + is just a test of the new pay to play model we will be presented at launch.

@@RAMIR3Z0 Yes sir, on top of our online PSN fees R* will be juicing us for cash! I’m just making assumptions based on a gut feeling I had the moment they launched GTA+. I may be totally wrong and online play will be free but here’s how I’ll bet it goes down: 1. Game launches without online play 2. Months later the online multiplayer teasers begin dropping 3. We find out how much it’s going to cost to play online. My guess is 5-10 bucks a month with a choice to pay more to have more perks in-game.
