Please never never never sell your car at true value showroom. The parent company maruti suzuki India limited ( MSIL) owns and controls it's subsidiary or daughter company maruti suzuki true value. They both are head quartered in New Delhi, they dont go through the credentials or moral value systems of the show rooms they authorise all over India. These true value dealers take your vehicle and give you a delivery receipt that they will be responsible for all accidents ,challans, compensation etc from that day onwards . So you will trust them because a reputed company maruti has authorised them but they sell your car like samosa Chenna on the beach ,they dont transfer the ownership records, the buyer will be driving the car with the ownership in your name and one fine day you will receive a court notice that the vehicle had caused an accident and somebody was greviously injured or dead, their family will demand 25 to 30 lakhs for permanent disability or 40 to 50 lakhs if the victim is dead. You will then desperately contact the head office and they won't take responsibility for the accident, nor will they take action against the true value dealer in cancellation of authorisation, you will be running behind the court, the court will not accept the delivery receipt given by them, the judge will quote section 2 (30) of the motor vehicle act and make you compensate 25 to 45 lakhs with 6percent interest from the date of the claim by the victim or his family for which you have to sell or mortgage your house to pay the victim.Iam telling this out of a first hand experience of pain. Please dont sell your car at any true value dealership. True value headquarters in New Delhi doesnt take any responsibility at all.Infact the headquarters pretends over the phone that they didn't receive any mail from you everytime you call they will accept that call as a fresh complaint.please dont trust true value or their dealers. You can buy the same car for 40 percent lesser outside and sell the car yourself and be without anyworry. Never sign a Transfer order form and hand it over to the buyer, you yourself fill the form collect the buyers signatures,his aadhar copy self attested and a few photos of the buyer, the full amount of the car ,drive him to the RTo office and 5hen put your signature in front of the RTO officer and hand over the forms to the RTo officer only.please dont forget to put the date next to your signature.
