- Episode 6 - In this episode, we debut the (arguably) legendary lost photo set from the Arlington, TX Pizza Time Theatre. Follow along as we go over each photo from this sought-after set of images, breaking them down and uncovering visual clues.
NOOO I MISSED THE PREMIERE! But I watched it afterwards, and THIS IS THE BEST EPISODE YET 😩❤️❤️
czcams.com/video/3yN985dI5K8/video.htmlfeature=shared The hot fudge show has been found if you didn't know this was a chuck e cheese animatronic that was lost but not now!!!
Rip arlington, goodbye childhood memories
Some of these photos have liminal spaces vibes. Thanks for sharing.
I wonder if the blue background was because those characters on the Shelf usually had a blue curtain in their frames. And with this being the first store to open with a Balcony stage, I wonder if they transferred that over based on that or to save costs or whatever reason. And felt that the stage looked too empty and then installed the set pieces....
That’s definitely possible. The props shown in the manual could have been created after this show was installed.
Such a great video, happy to be a part of the premiere !!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH, following you all the way from Spain!!!!
To me, that "napkin dispenser" appears to be a box for tokens, and it can also be seen to the left of the Beagles and to the right of Dolli. I wonder if they experimented with running the animatronics off tokens?
You’re probably right about the token dispenser. If it didn’t run the main show it’s possible it activated the effects inside the madhouse.
they did with dolli dimples so im pretty sure they did with the beagles
we finally got to see this
It'll be cool to finally get a clear look at the only other known photo to exist of the first incarnation of the Beagles.
Woooah
Those photos look amazing
I love seeing retro cec photos from 70s-early 80s
Its great to see these! Seeing PTT-Era photos that were never found is always a joy, great video!
These are amazing! I actually like how the Balcony Stage looks in these photos. I also didn’t know that the entrance to Mr. Munch’s Magic Madhouse was a door. (I thought you had to crawl through the Cheese Wall to get to it.)
Also, I hope we find photos of the Brandon, Florida location’s grand opening. I’m not sure how accurate this is, but apparently it opened sometime in 1980, and I’ve seen a picture from Facebook (it might be available on Google or whatever) that was of Foxy Colleen’s "Now Appearing" poster that was apparently from the Brandon Florida Pizza Time Theatre. (It was apparently taken in 1980 or very-early 1981) More photos of Foxy Colleen would be nice.
Sitting down to watch this after ordering pizza. I had no idea you guys had a Discord.
HOOOOLY SHIT the photos are gonna look incredible
Awesome photos and video 🍕 ❤
Those were amazing!!!
Ah yes, the location with the first official Balcony Stage.
I thought kooser rd was.
@@aGoosenamedJordan It did, but it was originally made for the test audiences known as the ''Showboat'' to see if they liked the idea, the audiences liked the idea so they have to include Balcony Stage throughout the US (and later Canada) starting with this location.
@@BluetheFortune2006 Did not know that. Thanks for the info
It's also the first location to install the Rocker Stage.
this is awesome
Those Old Pictures Were Awesome! 🐀🍕
Thanks for the video
❤
Ooo I Can Wait!!
Can you try researching about the Chuck E. Cheese in Arlington heights IL and i believe it use to be a show biz pizza at the old location
Can you guys make a video about the Seattle Mariners Pizza Time Theatre promotion back in 1982?
IM SOOO EXITED THIS IS MY LOCATION
Are we gonna talk about the mitzi animatronic in the background
17:10 We Sure Are!
based the pizza times
❤❤❤❤❤ this is awesome 👌
This was my childhood! CEC was SOOO much better back then!! I remember almost all of this. I had forgotten about the ball pit (ball crawl) until this video, but seeing it unlocked a core memory, lol! I had also forgotten about those horrifying disembodied flag wavers. Even as a kid, and even though I absolutely LOVED CEC, I found animatronics to be creepy. CEC and his buddies were okay. Still a little creepy, but still fun too. But I HATED the flag wavers. Oh, and that AWFUL animal feet clapperboard thing. Anyone remember that?
My only guess on the mystery shelf in the store is a few shelf of plush toys. My only guess is due to one of the bizarre blue in there matching Jasper's overalls at the time.
Blink twice if you are being held at gunpoint
Just subbed this is awesome
YES, YES!!!
They should have left a location of the evolution process of Chuck E. Cheese as like a museum
Artie Antlers. That's all I'm going to say.
Amazing video! Do you have any information or photos of the Pizza Time Theater store in Wayne New Jersey? (Not the same store as it is today)
Not sure why Arlington is a big deal, but I guess I can see why with some of these photos.
Arlington is a big deal for it being basically one of the best Cyber stores in TX (up until last year) and the history surrounding it. Oh and these pics haven’t been posted until now. It’s a much bigger deal than the other Arlington store, Justiss, which we have documentation of, although that one was a Showbiz.
This is amazing can you please do a lost ptt character video like wolfman zap and that duck
YESSSS
Good video
I left the fandom a long time ago and have missed out on a lot of stuff, what's special about the Arlington store?
Nice photos of actual interior unlike the many main room, cabaret and gift section photos we see. Also beautiful photos of the first generation beagles
Arlington was the first PTT opened in Texas, and the site of the first Rocker Stage. They are still open today and currently corporate films stuff there.
Since this was Arlington, I'm guessing the flags were meant to be the six flags over Texas (Spain, France, Mexico, Republic, USA and CSA)?
I always thought that those beagles were prototypes
Great video! Do you think you can do a video on the artwork by Jack Nichols?
Uhhhh yessssssss
Great video! One question though: If Arlington opened in October of 1980, how come the "Around the World with Madame Oink" showtape labels the release date as "November 7th"? Assuming the store opened with that showtape.
We’re not sure. This reel could have been from a different batch. If my memory serves me correctly, many of these PTT reels (the same show) had different dates in them depending on when they were dubbed and sent out.
Also curious that the pennants are dated 1981, but are present in these photos. 🤔
yes yes yes
When will we get the Arlington justiss spp?
I need some information about Chuck E. Cheese’s and Showbiz’s in Michigan
15:55 Id assume that its not an Italian flag, but the Mexican flag with the eagle being obstructed. Probably just a showcase of the "six flags over Texas". France, Spain, Mexico, Republic of Texas, The Confederate States, and the United States. (six flags is also headquartered in Arlington but I digress)
Also was Showbiz pizza planning to open canadian locations
Can you do more of these videos please
Is there a photo of the fontana location 🤔
tightttt
Correct me if im wrong but I dont think thats the Italian flag, rather I think thats the Mexican flag which would make more sence since Texas used to belong to Mexico rather than Italy.
But the Italian flag fits with pasqually
i begged for months for this
What’s so legendary about this location in particular? I’m not familiar with it
k so its like the most amazing location ever. first in texas, first opened balcony, prototype beagles, and had tons of stuff@@luckyduckyproductions
