- The 1990 YONEX All England Men's Doubles Final was a true classic with two of the greatest men's doubles pairs that have ever played going for the title.
Korea's Kim Moon Soo & Park Joo Bong beat Li Yongbo & Tian Bingyi (China) 17-14, 15-9. - Sport
Park Joo-bong: Head Coach of Japan Team
Kim Moon-soo: Head Coach of Korea Team
Li Yong Bo: Former Head Coach of Chinese Team
Tian Bing Yi: Former Head Coach of Chinese Women Doubles
Yes they are simply the legend!
I had the opportunity to see these Korean pairs live in the stadium when they defeated the Malaysian number one pair in Malaysia, I can still remember their fearsome attacks and smashes, the Malaysian pair put up a great fight but the Koreans were at the top of their game
Truly a classic game from legendary players.
spursindonesia both had won world championship and asian game.but korea is the first olympic winmer.
Thank you for posting a good video.
I want to use the video.
I will mark the original author in the description.
"The legend " Park Jo Bong/Kim Moon So.
Joo bong...
High speed and peak performance
Young mr. Li yongbo is so cute 😂
역시 환상의 콤비 김문수 박주봉
Dimasanya, sulit mengalahkan park Joo bong-kim Mon soo
Pasangan Korsel itu tipe permainan seperti Cai Yu/Fu Haifeng
@@satriannasri7157 KMS smashnya gledek kayak FHF sama TBH. PJB placingnya bagus kayak Yuta, Hendra, sama Kim Dong Moon
Park Jo Bong / Kim Moon Soo itu diibaratkan seperti Cai Yun / Fu Haifeng
What brand of racket they're used?tension?
Most likely Yonex Carbonex 20 even balance in 2U weight. Maybe Yonex Aerotus head light 2U. First 3U Yonex came out around 1992. String probably quite thick 70 or 69 mm and guessing by the sound 23 - 27 lbs. Just guessing.
Omg i remember the carbonex line.
We in Indonesia all played with carbonex 8, as it was the cheapest option from yonex carbonex line.
The carbonex 9 was also pretty common
There was no jumping smash by the korean pair
But the smashes still end up with kills, so they still get the job done. The placement is great, the technique is amazing, the smash is still quite steep even without much jumping. Of course, not in the likes of Fu Haifeng or Halim Heryanto's jump smashes, but more than good enough for its era.
Frankly, jump smashing is overrated, particularly if, like Park Joo-bong, you already hit at a steep angle.
cos the 2 of them are very tall. more than 1.8m tall
Ronny Purba doesn't matter. Probably the best mens doubles pair ever playing. Simply incredible.

Pak Jo bong
I took a photo with him and he said to me “young man, if I can spend 3 years to train you , you can beat Lin Dan!
not even born yet

Lie Yong Bo + Tian Bing Yie hebat ,namun sllu kalah jk vs Liem Swie King + Kartono Hariatmanto di Indonesia open 84, 85, & di world cup badminton
Swie King pair has a famous lost to Yong Bo pair in a Jakarta Thomas Cup decisive game.

지가 아웃 쳐놓고 표정 뭔데
Joo Bong + Moon Soo hebat ,namun prestasinya ternoda olh Liem Swie King + Bobby Ertanto.
Joo Bong + Moon Soo sllu kalah jk vs King + Bobby di piala Thomas 84, di world cup badminton 1985, 1986
Haa pa iya om yg bener ...swie king/ bobby ertanto sering kalahkan ganda korea itu , hebat jg yah 👍👍
Park joo bong/kim moon soo were in a class of their own.
The chinese, sidek brothers from malaysia and eddy hartono/gunawan would give all out dragged out fights, but park/kim almost always came out on top.
park also was the best on mixed double with chung myung hee, park was the motor behind all those sudirman cup wins in the early 90s. They would secure 3 double points, 2 points were park’s. Indonesia would take the 2 single matches with the great susy susanti and one of their man singles, but they had 0 chance against korean double teams
