    51:56 THANK👏🏻 YOU👏🏻
I thought I was the only one like, “O-K! I guess you can just change what we call them now because you don’t like their names.” I never had a problem with VCARB even though it ain’t sexy but it’s whatever or the low key genius name of Stake F1 Team Kick Sauber, which is the only long team name that’s easy to remember. It’s smart, it’s clever!
I 100% agree with you guys and the hate bandwagon is just annoying.
(A hate bandwagon that’s possibly lead by the Brits who are quick to hate something which decides what everyone else likes/hates as well.)
1:04:39 Zak! Yeah after your guys’ bombshell, I went searching and dug to that pod from 2020 where Zak talked about Wheel Of Fortune. I was like, WHAT?!?! 😂 no way! after seeing the clip y’all found: 🤣

10:25 zeropod was not mike elliott's idea btw it was james allison's idea meant to come to fruition in 2021 but the regs moved due to covid and toto sent james to a different project and elliott just couldn't put everything together, mike elliott's contribution was the platform of the car which he fucked up and james looks like put it to the right direction immediately james might not have the same legacy as adrian but he is a genius himself

9:25 redbull did get a headstart, adrian newey was at the right place the right time these regs were tailor made to suit someone like newey i don't know any other team had that big of a figure who understood or studied ground effects to such extent

Yep. The first few chapters of his book document his work the last time f1 cars had such an emphasis on ground effect. Dude literally writes about dealing with porpoising and stalled floors decades ago

@@TheRedFlagsPod Oh, wow, thank you for the reply, nevermind how quick it was!
As a Canadian I really appreciate your American perspective on F1. Too many Brits in this space, though I love your interviews with Nate.
Cheere, keep up the good work!

The outrage over the manhole cover in Vegas was more from the press…Ferrari was pissed because it destroyed a million dollar race car, and to repair it they get grid place penalties, all while they are fighting Mercedes for 2nd. The one last week with Leclerc was during testing and no where near as high stakes of a situation with 10’s of millions riding on it.
These manholes are an issue 1-2 times a season, and the teams are always the same…arguing over safety and destroyed cars. How the press present it may be different. I mean having a massive lump of steel launched up through the bottom of the car is something that should be taken very seriously, regardless of when it happens tbh. And a billion dollar enterprise like F1 should have triple checks in place to insure that it doesn’t happen…ever.

I think Alonzo is keeping quiet. Because probably he has been said no to

Agreed, I think he already knows he’s staying at Aston for a few more years and is just enjoying the usual stirring.
