Hi Anjola! So glad to hear that you found my video helpful! The requirements are different depending on which school you are planning to study at. When you have applied trough UCAS the school will send you either a mail or contact you trough UCAS and will inform you about the requirements. Many schools require a portfolio which shows all of your work that are related to the course example. Fashion sketches, photoshoot and so on. Did this help? Hi Jaspreet! Thank you for your comment! Thats a great question and a great idea for making a video on this topic. I really do like the university especially it’s facilities, and this really sets it apart from other university I looked at. Therefore it is so sad that I haven’t been able to use it. I would say the amount I pay for having online classes versus in having classes in university is not worth it at all, and would highly advise people to study when the universities opens up again. The university has given me many opportunities like scholarship, work, being apart of the international student blog team, events, participating in competitions, and making a video for them on my experience with remote learning which I don’t know if would have gotten so many opportunities on any other university. The only thing I don’t like with the my course in particular is during my first year there was changing of teachers and module leaders which affected my academic learning, and there are still some teachers this year that I don’t get that valuable learning experience from but again this depends on what course you take. When said that the school does a anonymous survey at the end of each semester on the module you had to improve the learning experience! The school has many opportunities for placements and internships you can take a look at this page: www.westminster.ac.uk/current-students/employability-and-career-development/improving-your-employability/work-experience-and-placements I personally haven’t had any placements or internship thorough the university as I had other priorities and have experience with that from before, and my course doesn’t have a combined placement semester. My course supports students who have internships and placement even though we don’t have this apart of our course. You can also do a internship in summer holiday to. In high school, my course was media and communication which gave me leverage to apply for fashion marketing and promotion, but this isn’t so necessary as many have no or little experience from before. I got accepted to all of the schools I applied to, and think it is because of the background I had. So it's something to look into. Which universities are you applying to?

Fashion marketing and promotion at university of Westminster does not teach Fashion design. There aren’t many schools that have both fashion design and marketing/communication. I know that UAL has a fashion design and marketing course ☺️
