- Been skating MADS. Maybe I'll have to start just uploading the raw footage of the sessions. Anyway, here's a trick I never did before. Given varial flips are generally frowned upon. But are nightmare flips more acceptable? Especially if your first one ever is like this and you get in 12 minutes?

Similar to fakie backside double flips and reg double flips, the hardest part of commitment I found is jumping high enough to let it flip twice. But now I can sometimes like this just flick it precisely harder and not need to keep my feet up mads

Double varial? Looks sick. I landed primo on my tailbone over the famous Flushing Meadows fountain gap in Queens NY after slipping on a nollie tre.. that was my nightmare flip 😂.

Haha yeah, if you watch my first few double flips I flick em normally but really hard but I’ve found it easier to flick down more to get double flips which is why when applying to a varial like this it’s super low, at least I think

Nice! After getting the double flip, I was able to get a fakie double bs flip, fakie double and this varial double flip! You should try to do it with some other tricks!

I never did either, but after getting reg double flips, and fakie half cab double flip, it felt right. Only took a few tries. Did a fakie double flip after which was way more annoying

Haha for sure. I think I did redo it once, but it was even uglier but way more popped. Maybe one day I’ll get you a cleaner one but idc enough about this trick atm. I’ll upload a nicer one in the future
