I’m a bridal makeup artist, 99% of my clients request neutrals, but there’s always that 1% who wants something crazy colorful. And I was look into buying a new, all-encompassing rainbow palette for those instances, this video is for sure helpful ❤

I would be that client....I'd want grungy, sexy purples and silvers if I could do it all again. I got married at the courthouse and while I don't regret not having a big wedding, there is a part of me that wants to wear a beautiful dress and have our kids involved.... maybe in 2026 for our 15th anniversary..
@whoathatsanicememe3093 I got eloped, so we didn't plan much. I wore a dress I already had and some sandals. Our son was there, but he was so little he doesn't remember. The deal was we'd have a big party afterwards but that never happened. We've been together 13 years. A big part of me wishes we did it bigger but that's all we could afford at the time.
Glamlite's original palettes are so well thought out, their entire drink collection was so good! I wish they'd do more non-IP palettes again.

Same, that Rick and Morty palette is gorgeous but I don’t watch the show and I’m not a big makeup collab fan in general so I skipped out on it. I might’ve bought it if it had just been a normal palette without the IP attached, and tbh I find myself not interested in Glamlite releases anymore since it’s just collab after collab.
Their Ice Cream palette is still one of my fav palettes of all time!

Don't know if this would be interesting to anyone else, but I would love to see a video of small palette combos, something similar to what you often do with mini xenon. I like, when I'm going on a trip to bring two small palettes, sometimes to compliment and extend the color story, sometimes to give me completely different option etc.
I really love this idea and would also be really interested in a video on this!

Viseart just had a 50% off sale and I finally got some rainbow in my collection with the editorial brights and the dark mattes. Both palettes are all matte (Hooray!) and having movable pans is a must for me.
palette you didn´t mention: Glossgods- look for rainbow - also rainbow palette but they did it differently - only shimmers, special rainbow shimmers , duos - multichromes. Truly gem. love it
I have my eyes set on that one as my first GlossGods palette! It just speaks to my neutral mattes colourful sparkly lid soul!

I actually love the colorpop matte about hue. It's an all matte rainbow palette with a gradient. It doesn't have every single shade (no red) and I think some of the pinks are a bit redundant, and it's honestly not the best quality shadows I've ever used BUT, .... BUT, I actually reach for it constantly to pair with shimmers & multichromes.
I came here to say as much. It's a good launching point.
I have matte about hue, the original, and the new one that’s pans in a z style palette and I find the last to be the best formula
I don’t use my Matte About Hue palette on the daily but it absolutely comes in handy fairly often when I’m trying to create something specific. And I don’t mind the quality.
I realize B roll is time-consuming, but you do my favorite swatches. ❤

I just took Trendy in Tokyo with me to Greece! It was great for a colorful inner corner highlight. Since it is drugstore i wasn’t as afraid of it getting beat up in my luggage

I consider Club Nebula to be my favourite rainbow palette. I have a pastel rainbow palette as well to complement it.

The BH cosmetics Lost In Los Angeles palette is a really good pastel palette. I believe Angie has a dedicated video with swatches etc. 😊
@@rivkashapiro8119 I built my own on the Lethal Cosmetics website. Their pastel formula is more powdery than the Kaleidos. I also included a matte white which was a wonderful idea.
I feel the exact way about Surge as you described! I own a lot of colors, and a few of the rainbow palettes mentioned, so ultimately picked Surge as my BlendBunny palette to try because it gave me the most interesting and new shades to try! The neons are so far what I have used the most.
I don't have the Rick and Morty from Glamlite, but I do pair their palettes a lot. I find the Barbie palette a bit on the deeper side, like you mentioned some of their palettes can lean, but I think it pairs perfectly with the Ice Cream Dream palette, which for me is often too light (and a bit neutral) on its own. A great pair!
I fracking love that Rick and Morty palette. I never watched that show even once, but the palette is worth twice what i paid for it. I reach for it every other day and i have so many other choices. 😍

I like it too... I never watched the series, nor did I buy the Palette collection when it first launched. But something made me feel like "let's click Angie's video with it" & the look she did was so fire that I actually bought the palette for its blues & greens.
I’ve watched it but generally oppose it because of its fans behavior and Roiland and his bullshit, but I LOVE that palette. Guilty pleasure, I guess. My money went to the franchise but at least none of the people who upset me ever were or are associated with the brand anymore.
My daughter knows the show and went in and meticulously named each color. 😂
Awesome overview of the rainbow palettes! The one I missed though was the LH Cosmetics Color palette - in my opinion, a great rainbow palette for people who dislike huge palettes :)

That video was purely brilliant, very well thought out and the explanations are great, really made sense to me. I can tell I' deeply influenced by you when I consider what I own in my collection. You're one of the big influences that urged me not only to embrace my love for makeup again, especially colorful makeup, and it shows! I just wish my vitality palette didn't disappear in the mail when I ordered it. By the time it was clear it was lost forever, it was sold out so I never could get it... still breaks my heart to this day (not the brands fault, of course, they were great about it). I've been thinking about the Rick and Morty palette but I've had such poor costumer service with Glamlite, I'm a bit scared to order again 🙃

I really love the plouise unlock your creativity palette - bulky packaging is annoying but the formula is perfection! All mattes in this palette in amazing rainbow gradients. I can’t recommend enough
I recommend LH Cosmetics Color palette. I'm from Europe and I love supporting Linda Hallberg, she is amazing. I have gotten so much use out of that palette. Love the quality, and it has white and black matte shade.

I absolutely LOVE my glamlite Rick & Morty palette.
Viseart Brights is absolutely one of my favorites & for some reason I thought you purchased it a few years ago in Sweden when you started collecting their colorful palettes 🤷🏼♀️! Maybe it ended up being decluttered since you rarely created all matte looks at the time, but more likely, my memory is playing tricks on me, lol! It is a lovely all matte color story but I don’t know if it’s a good option for beginners. So long as the buyer enjoys working with their matte formula & is willing to pay the price, it’s one pallet that goes with me for any type of travel
I know you mentioned glamlite, but I love and use their ice-cream palette, which is a bit of a rainbow palette, all the time. I'm wearing it today lol. It's the reason I've been able to resist buying other pastel palettes.
I am so glad you uploaded this. My depression is high. I am missing my nerve blockers shots 3 weeks in a row. I have a flu from hell! I did spend most sleeping it off. It's in my lungs now, so we are concerned about my lymph nodes. My happy broke! 😢 ❤❤❤❤ my happiest palettes are the bold colourful. Play it Jewel by colourpop. It is a rainbow palette with some neutrals, which, to be honest, I took out the neutrals and replaced them for colourful ones from my depotting their monochromatics, and it is such a beautiful formula. Back to resting. 😢

I remember my first palette I ever bought it was the original Take me to Brazil palette by BH cosmetics. I loved it so much. I still have it to this day but have not used it in years. Can’t part with it! Loved this video thank you for taking the time with the swatches and all. Your swatches are the best I’ve seen anywhere! 😁😁
I've never thought of Solmane II as a rainbow palette, but I did find myself dipping into it a few times during pride along with my Mikayla Glamlite palette

All About Hue from colorpop is my favorite rainbow. Lots of options for tones and finishes.
I love the ones from ColourPop, Unearthed cosmetics and Blend Bunny for their color stories, but especially for being cruelty free .
Another Beauty Bay palette Bright Matte is amazing. Its my most used palette and i do have the 2.0 too.
Very helpful. I love that you included swatches. Rainbow palettes are sometimes randomly laid out but seeing them swatched really pulls it together.

Hands down love the Rick & Morty palette and Scooby Doo palette. I know that they also have the Paint and Paint Pro palette which are two that I don’t have at this time but they look nice.

I really like the fade into hue palette. The pressed glitters come out even. They aren't weird and chunky like other pressed glitters.

I have both the paint palettes from glamlite and they're decent rainbow 🌈 palettes. At the time I think they were superior formulas but now with blend bunny I don't even know that I need them. I struggle to let go of eyeshadow though 😅

& the Nomad Cosmetics Monteverde Cloud Forest Palette looks amazing.
But on another note, for Rainbow Palettes, I prefer Reds over Pinks any day of the week.
I have only recently been getting into colorful eyeshadows, and the Beauty Bay Bright 2.0 is one of the first palettes that I bought. it really is a great purchase for the price and the number of shades that you get, and Beauty Bay is always having some sort of sale. but my next one is definitely going to be the Blend Bunny Blends palette!

I have loved all the Glamlite palettes I've tried so I don't necessarily mind that they do a lot of collabs because I still love the shadows, but I do agree with other commenters that I wish they would incorporate more regular collections!

This is a really good selection of rainbow palettes. A rainbow palette I really enjoy is the Likely Makeup Ugly palette. I've taken that on vacation a few times. 🤗

Damm, I had almost talked myself out of Rick and Morty...swooning over here. I went through my stash - I think one of the most underrated tainbow-y palettes is the Juvia's Place Warrior III. It's only 9 shades, but all the rainbow colors, and it's bold, baby! Also the Anastasia Riviera palette. I reach for both along for punchy looks, and I think the bad rap the Riviera gets is not justified. At least not in/on my eyes.😂
You know what, looking at the Rick and Morty palette since you mentioned the yellow shimmer, I think that shade is the only one that' throws me off as it looks so gold and doesn't really fit with the rest of the tones, but imagine if it would be like a pastel lemon or acid yellow shimmer ( or even matte) 🤩..perfection
DAMN IT!! The one palette that looked like what I’d want- the Blend Bunny Surge palette, is no longer stoked on the website! The link goes to a 404!! And I can’t find it to buy anywhere else either. Ugh.. the organised shades in rows and columns made me so happy, and having one colour in all the different shades sounds so interesting for making looks.. ugh, why am I always late to these things!!

I believe you declutter one of my favorite ones because it was too big and I agree with you but I love the Carnival Love Tahiti by BePerfect Cosmetics, such fun colors and it has a corner with magenta/berries/purples wich are my favorite tones of eyeshadows

So the only rainbow palette that I own is the Blends palette, which I just got this year for my bday. And I reallly Love it!!
