लवासा (Lavasa) महाराष्ट्र के पुणे ज़िले में पुणे और मुंबई के समीप स्थित एक नियोजित नगर है। इसे हिन्दुस्तान कंस्ट्रक्शन कंपनी एचसीसी इंडिया द्वारा इटली के पोर्टोफीनो नगर की शैली में बनाया गया है, और इसकी कई सड़कों के नाम उस शहर की सड़कों पर रखे गए हैं।यह भारत की स्वतंत्रता के बाद निर्मित पहले हिल स्टेशन के रूप में विज्ञापित किया गया है। लवासा 7 पहाड़ियों में फैला हुआ है, जो 25000 एकड़ के क्षेत्र को कवर करता है।
लवासा के लिए निकटतम एयरपोर्ट पुणे है और सबसे नजदीकी रेलवे स्टेशन भी पुणे है। लवासा मुंबई से लगभग 190 किमी और पुणे से लगभग 60 किमी दूर है। बस या टेक्सी के अलावा आप अपनी पर्सनल कार से भी लवासा हिल स्टेशन की यात्रा कर सकते है।

I stayed in Pune back in 2003-2010 and at that time Lavasa city was constructed but due to certain problems that project got failed big time, unfortunately.
I vividly remember the hype about lavasa city at that time. All the crorepatis and millionaires and big business tycoons were investing their money in lavasa city! But finally to no avail....
All the places around Lavasa are absolutely great! It's still good even now, but back during those days almost 15-20 years back, this place was heaven itself, trust me!!
Because there was almost no construction and very less commercial and residential buildings in this place at that time and hence there was too much greenery and the natural surroundings were doubly beautiful than nowadays...
Miss those times, really! Pune as a city was different altogether during those times. Now everything has changed for worse.
Correct! I am from Uttarakhand, now in Pune.
Though we should not compare it with Himalayan mountains but still the feel is same. The greenery all around is I love the most ❤
That's what I expressed. The hills of this place and mountains of uttarakhand are very different....
But the landscape and overall surroundings are similar in some ways. Gives that feel of uttarakhand.
Himalayas are starting from 400M ranges to 8000M... Sahyadris starts from 50M ranges to 2000M there's no comparison between them... you can compare it with Shivalik Hills which is quite similar to Sahyadris

@@NickBishtVlogs Yeah... but flora and founa are different in both the places... I'm native to pune and I've been to Himchal... both are quite different... we can compare the Hill area between Kullu & Chandigarh with Sahyadris... Actual himachal is way better
