What is "Non-Euclidean Minecraft"
Well firstly, it isn't really non-euclidean. That is just a term that most youtubers use when describing the Immersive Portals mod since it kind of turns minecraft into a semi non-euclidean game. The immersive portals mod turns all minecraft portals into see-through seemless portals, that you can just walk through to reach the next dimension. The mod also adds special portal blocks that you can use to create seemless portals in one dimension, allowing for an extension of what normally is possible in vanilla minecraft.

The best part is mumbo-jumbo tried out the immersive portals mod today and made a TV that also makes it look tiny and then turned it into a video game

Yeah Mumbo made a video with a complete base accessible from on block, years ago. And there was furnaces, storage, enchant, bed, anvil, brewing stand ....
Guys in this video didn't even tried to make a base. Chest don't work ? let's not try to find a solution... Bed don't work ? Also no solution.
They could put the chest closer like the enchant table. Same for the bed. They could have made a portal to a super smelter, instead of just two sad furnace...
Really they seems like they didn't even tried.

One thing that y’all haven’t done: make a TARDIS (doesn’t have to function) that actually looks bigger on the inside

Maybe a bit late, but if you figured out the distance at wich the chest gui closes, you could've had the chests stored offscreen, but still in reach. Probably wouldn't have been quite as many though.

Man, these videos make me REALLY want to learn how to use Immersive Portals
You should do a Non-Euclidean build battle, except you don't use any portals in yours, just make it seem like it, and have them be very confused.

Chest fix:
Use one of the cube portals and extend it out to where you can stand in it/ put your head in it. I have done this with a shelf I built at 1:4 scale and it works!

I JUST HAD A BRILLIANT IDEA!!! Use non-euclidian for a horror map, easiest horror map ever, you’d probably want to use word edit as well, anyways, my idea is that you make multiple copies of a staircase, portals at the top and the bottom, then, implement the staircases into the map.

The only thing this mod needs are portable portals. Like... you carry am around with you. Like a portal door you can just plop down and then there is your base.
Man that door reminds me of the dimensional doors mod, my favorite mod as a kid

Nope. Minecraft actually checks the distance the player is away from the chests. I think it's for anti cheating.
And you can already open chests that are stacked on top of eachother

This mod has come quite far since it's first appearance. One year ago it was random placement, today you can pick it with just wool

A little correction to the begining of the video.
The mod doesn't work like that. You're supposed to create TWO portal frames by using the "portal helper" block and when you light one portal, it should connect to the other. That's how the mod is supposed to work. Of course if you build only one portal frame the mod will randomly create another one, because it has to connect to somewhere. If another portal doesn't exist, the game makes one randomly. It can be on the ground level, in the sky or even underground in a cave. But THAT IS NOT the supposed function of the mod. It connects TWO existing portal frames. It also makes vanilla NETHER and END portals see through and walk through seamlessly by pre-loading their chunks. And also stacks dimensions on top of each other, I think (not quite sure as some other mods do this stuff as well). So the main purpose of the mod is to connect two existing portals, or to make vanilla portals seamless, not to create a random portal out of nowhere.

Hey so when seeing how Jojo went flat in the door, perhaps you could do something around that, moving pantings, for instance how you have the creeper panting, put a creeper in the flat door and it can move and such. I know it's a dumb idea but I think if it's possible to make stuff flat, then it can bring new ideas.
Seems like there should be a companion mod or plugin that allows you to interact with guis from a longer distance
