@@MynameisCharlie: Never heard of the NES games based on Ghostbusters, Roger Rabbit, or Dick Tracy as a child. But based on his description of the driving controls, it's like Roger Rabbit meets Ghostbusters. All he's missing is needing to refuel, and paying damages for crashing into other cars.
@@MynameisCharlie: The one guy going down the stairs and then just bouncing back and forth?? Reminds me of that part in World 2 *(Desert Land)* where there's the boxes like a staircase on the one side, and how the Red Goomba just keeps hitting bricks until he just bounces back and forth on the bottom.

This has always been one of my favorite Nerd episodes especially the ending where he has the biggest burst of anger throughout the whole series.
It's absolutely hilarious, you can tell this was genuine anger and frustration about the game, because this was personal to him, it's something he grew up with, and respected, only to find out that it was nothing more than a piece of shit, 😂
It's like who ever created this doesn't know how to make a game.

To be fair, this was a different time, when pretty much anyone besides the giants like Nintendo and Sega didn't know jack shit about video game design.

You know, if they just removed the snipers, gave you extra lives and continues, not be a STICKLER with the clues, than it wouldn't be impossible.. I'd kinda play a sort of beat 'em up detective kind of game.
Also the developers of this game.. they made Maniac Mansion for NES, Yes.. THAT Maniac Mansion.

That's very perceptive of you, I'm impressed, not a lot of people notice that, FluffeeTalks was the first CZcams video and channel I ever watched back in 2007, during the golden age of CZcams, after he released a FLuffees online store for the first time to support his channel, I just had to get one, right away, because he was my favorite youtuber, it came to like $50 with shipping and tax, this was all about 10 years ago, the latest ones have changed style and fonts, and his selection has increased, but back then, there were only a handful of items to choose from, I've had it for nearly 10 years now, I wear it every single day, I never go a day without wearing it, I'm emotionally attached to it. 😁👍

2:25 People say "Rick", though, and I'm guessing it got further corrupted to "Dick". It's like how "Polly" is derived from "Mary" via "Molly", and likewise "Peg" from "Margaret" via "Meg".

This game makes Dark Souls,Ninja Gaiden,Noih look like a piece of cake because those are hard but the NES Dick Tracy game is just fucking bullshit.
