I think the Sundadanio axelrodi a.k.a Neon Blue Rasbora would look great! The blue will complement the rocks and the behavior would be interesting in the Iwagumi layout!
Wirklich gute Tipps! Dankeschön. Ist ein sehr schönes Becken geworden, vorallem die roten Taiwaner sehen super auf dem HCC, (oder jetzt wohl eher MCC) aus 👍
Sorry to hear about the flooding. I like the way you provide information; clear and simple. Iwagumi isn't really my style, and I really wouldn't know what fish work best in such a setup, but I can appreciate a well balanced setup. 👍
This is definietly one of my favorite Scapes I've followed in progress in the last Time. I realy like the Game of the Colour of the Stones and the Plants. I like it
Beautiful! Also oh the irony, so much effort to not spill water with tanks just to get flooded by rain… this might not be a popular aquascaping choice but I think some bold cherry barbs would look fantastic in that!
Ich bin auch für Microdevario kubotai! Die kommen in Iwagumis gut zurecht und passen farblich toll zum hellgrünen Bodendecker (wie auch immer er jetzt offiziell heißt 😉).
Nice job, I really like this tank. Amazing contrast between the colors of stones and plants. Do you know whether these rocks change water parameters or are neutral?
Man sorry to hear about the flooding! Had to be so stressful! The scape is looking great mate! Perfect plant choice! I’m really leaning towards green neons! Keep up the great content!
Great video wonderful scenes❤ looking forward to see many microdevario kubotais in your tank soon 😊 btw. What is this for special wood box with pmk skull on😮
Hi Jurijs, just wondering, when you do water changes (after aquarium is stocked) do you re-mineralise before or after adding the water, or do you remineralise in a bucket and then add? I know parameters changes can affect shrimp and some fish I guess so was curious if it’s okay to do the water change and then add, or you need to add the minerals in something like a bucket before adding?
Been wanting to stock a tank with caridina shrimp but I'm afraid that in about a couple years or so the substrate will lose its buffering abilities. How do you keep stuff like ph, gh, and kh low without introducing tannins and maintaining the hardscape?
I was thinking black neon, but in my experience they grow a little too big, black phantom tetra is best suitable for vertical layouts, but the last one you suggested is a good candidate!
@@JurijsJutjajevs the iriatherina, george had it, but becareful they are a good jumper, i think because the stone is already kinda orange/brown, so maybe a silver or more neutral color will compliment the scape itself. Good luck finding the right fish Jurijs. It'll bother you until you decide which fish is the right fish 😂
I have Neo Skimmer attached to the filter outflow - no surface problems. Yes what you say about fish choice is exactly what I'm thinking. The iriatherina is an interesting fish, but maybe too fancy for the minimalistic layout.. One of my favourites as of right now is Rasbora dorsiocellata
@@JurijsJutjajevs wow that fish are so neutral, just silver plain and black dorsal fin. That'll do actually. I'm thinking abt red pencil as well. Those are so underrated.
@@JurijsJutjajevs I see a lot of people doing this, but with only 1 hour turn on before lights. Do you not reach the 30ppm levels in time with a 1 hour turn on before the lights come on?
Sorry to hear about your studio buddy... New studio is looking great tho! Love the giraffe 😁
This tank reminds me of the explosion of green in the desert after heavy rains. The shrimp selection was perfect as well!
Actually shrimps and snails are meant to match the rocks in color so they look like gravels
@@JurijsJutjajevs Perfect match!
Love seeing the progress of the tank despite the house instead of tank flooding!
It’s been a mess, but now it’s sorted and I can move on making new content
Always excited to see it, Jurijs!@@JurijsJutjajevs
Despite having ups and downs I'm glad you're still enjoying the hobby 🌱✨️🍃🐠💯🛠
That’s how life is. And I’m glad I was able to navigate through what happened with no major issues
Awesome scape! 🤤Maybe consider green neons. 🐟 Mine seems to be thriving in a 60p high light iwagumi layout with only hc cuba.
Lovely fish, I think it could work
It’s crazy how easy you make it look 🤯😂😂
It is easy 😜
I think neons are perfectly blend with rocks and background
I love that you focused on similar plants of different heights and leaf color!
The plant tip was very nice. I would love to set up a new tank on regular basis if I would have more time and space... :-)
Great video Jurijs! I hate to hear that about your studio, hopefully you can make it better than ever after repairs are made!
Yes, new studio will be better
I think the Sundadanio axelrodi a.k.a Neon Blue Rasbora would look great! The blue will complement the rocks and the behavior would be interesting in the Iwagumi layout!
I never kept them before, I’m concerned if they are not too small for the layout?
Wirklich gute Tipps!
Beatiful Tank and i love the shrimps 😅 Thank you!
When I saw them, I knew I had to buy them 😆
Sorry to hear about the flooding.

Stunning plant grow, it looks like a landscape painting that moves
The growth has been incredible. First trimming after only 2 weeks 😱

I like it
Thanks Jimmy
Mal wieder ein wirklich gutes, umfassendes und sehr entspanntes Beginner-Video. Einfach Aquascaping zum Wohlfühlen. 😄
Danke Stefan
Loving the plant choices for this. They’ll contrast quite nicely against the hues of the stone. The studio/set is looking super nice 👌🏼
The tank looks way better than what I imagined ❤
Thanks, there is still a long way to go
Amazing scape. I'm currently working on the idea of adding an RO system to my home.
You will love it for sure
Great scape! Some blue or black fish will look great in there
Yes that’s the theme I’m looking for
Excellent video. I really enjoyed all you tanks and always good info .
Lovely rock choice too ❤
I really like the choice of plants you used! Looks good 👍
Thanks! 😊
Super dense ultra high quality content, Jurijs. Respect. Well done.
Thanks Fabian 🙏
Great video, love the detail.
It’s been a while since I’ve watched a video. During times of stress your content calms me down. Thank u
you welcome, hope you feel better after watching it?
This set-up turned out amazing! Nice selection that will compliment the transition.
Thanks you, I have to admit I’m not sure about juncus, but time will tell
Love your video tips!
Used dark start method for a new shrimp tank, no algae 5 weeks later!
Nice aquarium... You should add some arlequin rasbora :)
Beautiful! Also oh the irony, so much effort to not spill water with tanks just to get flooded by rain… this might not be a popular aquascaping choice but I think some bold cherry barbs would look fantastic in that!
Sehr schönes Video!
The tank looks amazing! The tips on how to select the right plants were very helpful. Keep up the great work! 😁
Beautiful scape ❤ pearl danios will look good contrasting the scape
Simple and beautiful ❤ good work as usual.
Thank you! 😊
Great tips and the timing is just perfect. I will use these tips for sure in my new scape. Thank you!
Perfect, good luck 🍀
White Clouds or Leopard Danios would look awesome in that tank.
This has become a very nice iwagumi, jurijs 😊
The video is well constructed! It's really fun to watch your videos 🤝🏼😊
Really informative video, thank you

amazing tank!

Kubotai is a great choice, I think I’ll photoshop the fisch into the scape to see how they look 👀
@@JurijsJutjajevs yes they would really pop against the stones! Good idea photoshop first 👍 I hope you and the family are well mate!
Great video, enjoyed the different plant prep techniques, look forward to seeing it develop.
Looks lovely.
3 step yes. Thanks
Nice planted tank for sure
Thanks 👍

Cool vid, add some pea puffers to it I reckon
Pea puffers will enjoy the shrimps for dinner
Short and informative👌🏼 another great video

AHH RELAXING ☺
Is there a tropica specialized nutrition calculator somewhere? Great video, thanks 👌
Nah I don’t think so. Big brands are oftentimes very conservative with dosing recommendations. 1 💧/ 20 liters. That’s it..
Welcome back I like your topics
cheers mate, nice shirt on your profile ;)
very nice 👍
Thanks a lot
Why rename HC 😮 love the tank & planting but not sure about those stones for iwagumi though 🤔 there very bright 😎
sorry about the studio, the tropica stuff looks great!
Good luck 🍀
sundadanio blue axelrodi!!
nice! what fish are you planning to keep in there?
Not sure yet, something that contrasts well against the rocks, but also doesn't distract too much
Been wanting to stock a tank with caridina shrimp but I'm afraid that in about a couple years or so the substrate will lose its buffering abilities. How do you keep stuff like ph, gh, and kh low without introducing tannins and maintaining the hardscape?
I use RO water = full control of all parameters
Sundadanio axelrodi 🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟
How do you keep Filter hoses spotless my hoses turned yellow even though I clean every month.
Clean weekly. Alternatively you can try to bleach yours with h2o2
Add a pair of apistogrammas
What if i dont remineralize
Epic
Black neon? Phantom tetra? Or maybe active one like iriatherina?
I was thinking black neon, but in my experience they grow a little too big, black phantom tetra is best suitable for vertical layouts, but the last one you suggested is a good candidate!

Why do you recommend starting the Co2 2 hours before the lights come on?
So it can build up and reach 30ppm before the light goes on
@@JurijsJutjajevs I see a lot of people doing this, but with only 1 hour turn on before lights. Do you not reach the 30ppm levels in time with a 1 hour turn on before the lights come on?
It’s different for every aquarium, you have to find out for yourself
@@JurijsJutjajevs
Thank you for the info! I appreciate it
Use red fish maybe cardinal Tetra or amandae Tetra
I’m afraid red fish will blend with the rock and disappear
@@JurijsJutjajevs maybe Sundadanio Axelrodi is better
could work, but could be too small.. I'm collecting options and will make a community poll to narrow down the options

What is your water kh?
Kh = 0
is Life Aqua only available in Europe?
Asia and Europe. I guess until now there is no distribution in North America.
