- A walk that had been on my mind for a while, and I couldn't resist doing this route in weather like this. I really got lucky!
The only blotch on the day is that most of the route involved walking on a busy road, but, thankfully, it wasn't that busy.

09:40 belter of a campsite called Cae Du Farm, I've done this exact route, although followed the wales coastal path. Camped on those hills above Fairbourne.

Ah mate thank you!! Tbh that camping trip you did up there is where I got the idea from, I may even go to Cadair Idris if I can get to it from there. :) Cae Du looks great, imagine waking up to that view! :)

@@DaveOutdoors just pulled up in my work van and watched it. That was great! I kinda regret not following the Coastal Path now, views were stunning. And Cae Du looked ace too! :)
I'm envious you can do these walks and pick up a train on the return... public transport here in the Boston/Worcester MA USA area is useless to nonexistent so I'm always begging for rides on my walks.
That's a shame that you can't do it where you are, I think the US is missing out big time.
