I was trying to talk myself out of purchasing a jeep for the last few months, but your video put me over the edge :) Purchased a 2017 Willys Wrangler 2 door yesterday also in black… can't stop grinning since i walked out the lot.
Planet Moon it depends on the car tbh. On some cars the side of the seat they have electric buttons where you can play with to move the seat forward. Other cars you gotta do it manually, like push or pull the handle and move the seat forward yourself. Don't worry there is no such thing as a stupid questions

Great review. My wife got the 4 door version a month ago. I was never much of a Jeep person but we LOVE it!!!! She even lets me drive it every once in a while. Where is the best place to secure the tops when you take them out? It came with a storage bag. If you put them on the floor in the back, they will slide around and get dinged up. Hers is the painted and insulated top. Great review, keep up the good work.

There is straps on the outside of the storage bag and I figured that it was supposed to go somewhere in perticular. I'll have to check the manual tonight. The Jeep and the manual aren't home all that often. My wife and daughter have it out a lot. I just get to wash it! I'll be picking up a trailer hitch to attach our bike carrier to. You video makes it look too easy. I'll be waiting for the how to video for the radio. Great work!
I saved all the paperwork that came with the bag, roof tool, grab handles, and so forth so I'm sure I have it. If not, I'm sure I can google it. Thanks!
One more question......I can get the Curt #13432 hitch really cheap through work. Their website says it comes with all the necessary hardware. It does NOT mention the wiring harness. Does the 55124 wiring harness come with the hitch or do you have to order that separately? Thanks!

Great review! However the Trail Rated badge doesn't mean it was tested on the Rubicon Trail, that's what the Rubicon model of Jeep is for. I have a 2016 Sahara Unlimited. (its my avatar) I love it! And as a family vehicle it works perfectly. There is plenty of room for the kids and other stuff in the back. With the Unlimited model you get quite a bit more storage. I didn't know about the engine hours trick I will have to check to see what mine is. I only have 3000 miles on mine so far. Great video I love the added humor in it.

Lovely couple and a nice new Jeep. If you're from New Hampshire, then I'm from "old" Hampshire in England, where I am now driving a brand new Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, having before had a Wrangler TJ Sahara, so I guess we're kindred spirits!

Hi, yes, I do like my Rubi, more comfortable and easier to warm-up than my old TJ. I have some real grumbles about the European spec though - the front bumper is so ridiculously wide, it's like a picnic table - which is what I'll be using it for and for sitting-on to pull-on my wellington boots. The worst problem was receiving my vehicle with road wheels and not mud-terrains or even all-terrrains, on a Jeep Rubicon! I'm very annoyed, because as a rural estate manager, I need the car for off-roading. Jeep tell me that it is to do with European road noise regulations conspiring against knobbly tyres. Otherwise, I have a lockable bonnet, but no plug-in power socket - oh, and the steering wheel is on the right!
We agree with you about the comfort level as compared to our TJ's, it's so much nicer. Sounds like it time to put some mudding tires on! We figured the steering was on the right our is on the left. LOL
Mud-terrains are too skittish for the open road, but BFG all terrains are a very good compromise. I should also mention that we can get a 2.8 lt CRD diesel engine on Sahara spec in the UK, but I went for the smoother Pentastar V6 like you have in your Jeep, even if the economy is pretty poor (especially at our fuel prices). I've been zooming along snowy tracks in the forest and heathland today in my new Rubicon, which is now suitably muddy - one of the great pleasures of owning a Jeep Wrangler!
We heard about the diesel engine being offered on your side of the pond. :) Supposedly it will be offered here on the newly designed 2018 models. Oh yeah and having a Jeep Wrangler without at least some mud on it, should be against the law. LOL
WeRmudfun no problem. You know my interest in Wranglers began right after I rented one in Maui when mwasy wife and I were on our honeymoon. I still remember how fun it was to get in there and take it for a spin. that was in 2007 so I'm sure the overall driving experience of this car has improved.The interior sure looks nicer too. So I've been really thinking of getting the unlimited one day. I'm just not sure how it'll hold up in a big city driving.
This is our 6th Jeep and 4th Wrangler. We have owned a YJ, 2 TJ's and now a JK. We love everyone of them, but this is the smoothest riding one of them all

Just got my first Jeep Wrangler last Thursday. My 56th birthday present to myself (with wife's blessing). Love it so far. Love your video and I must ask as I am in Boston, the accent, you HAVE to be from heah (Boston for "here"). Keep up the great videos. I'm lost with the hard top storage. OK to store outside if covered? Some blogs say it may ruin seals. It would just be from April to October. Then back on it goes. I did that with a friend this weeked. Not easy at all! Getting hardtop off was fine but getting soft one on was a horror show. I got a 2017 w/12k miles on it and soft top had never been used so I'm hoping it was just taut because it wasn't yet broken in. It was almost like it didn't fit but it's all good now. And installing the rear vinyl window?!?! WOW! Zipper just would not catch. After 20 attempts, it finally caught. Now I don't dare take it out! I have newbie fear! I keep my cars for 10 plus years. I've had 2 Saabs and traded in a Volvo for this. Volvo was a great car but zero fun to drive. Traded that in actually at 4 yrs old. Could no longer drive it. My point is this is a complete 180 compared to my last 3 cars. Thanks again for this great video! Going to watch all your stuff.

The first time a soft top is installed, it is best to put it out in the sun first to let the fabric warm up a bit, it stretches easier that way. :) The rear zipper can be a pain at first,they need to be used a few times to get easier. We are indeed from the New England area, about 1 hour from Boston. LOL Most of all enjoy your new toy! :)

We don't recommend one dealer over another. When we buy a vehicle, we shop online for the best price and that's where we buy, even if it is outside of the New England area. We have never bought from the same dealer twice. You can go out to Jeep.com and see all the inventory for all the dealers. Do not pay MSRP. If they tell you they don't discount, walk away. Good Luck! :)
Took your advise and found a Sahara unlimited online. Base $34,245. MSRP 42,055 with extras. Got it down to $39k. Has dual top, heated seats, side airbags, 430N Radio and premium speakers. Really just wanted heated seats and dual top. Is that a fair price? And it's in NY and I'm in MA. Not sure if that matters either. Appreciate your help!

There should be an instruction sheet that came with the storage bag that shows how to strap it on. I believe it wraps around the head rests.

Gorgeous Sahara JK, sadly in US no more Sahara 2 drs from the latest generation so I got the Sport 28S JL since I prefer the classic Wrangler 2 doors!
We did not realize they dropped the Sahara trim for the 2 door line, that is sad. 🙄

Lovely couple and a nice new Jeep. If you're from New Hampshire, then I'm from "old" Hampshire in England, where I am now driving a brand new Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, having before had a Wrangler TJ Sahara, so I guess we're kindred spirits!
Very Cool! Your comment about "old" Hampshire made us laugh. This is our 4th Wrangler, we've had 1 YJ, 2 TJ's and now the JK. Enjoy the the Rubi...Cheers! :) Did you notice any difference between the U.S. and European models?
Hi, yes, I do like my Rubi, more comfortable and easier to warm-up than my old TJ. I have some real grumbles about the European spec though - the front bumper is so ridiculously wide, it's like a picnic table - which is what I'll be using it for and for sitting-on to pull-on my wellington boots. The worst problem was receiving my vehicle with road wheels and not mud-terrains or even all-terrrains, on a Jeep Rubicon! I'm very annoyed, because as a rural estate manager, I need the car for off-roading. Jeep tell me that it is to do with European road noise regulations conspiring against knobbly tyres. Otherwise, I have a lockable bonnet, but no plug-in power socket - oh, and the steering wheel is on the right!
We agree with you about the comfort level as compared to our TJ's, it's so much nicer. Sounds like it time to put some mudding tires on! We figured the steering was on the right our is on the left. LOL
Mud-terrains are too skittish for the open road, but BFG all terrains are a very good compromise. I should also mention that we can get a 2.8 lt CRD diesel engine on Sahara spec in the UK, but I went for the smoother Pentastar V6 like you have in your Jeep, even if the economy is pretty poor (especially at our fuel prices). I've been zooming along snowy tracks in the forest and heathland today in my new Rubicon, which is now suitably muddy - one of the great pleasures of owning a Jeep Wrangler!
We heard about the diesel engine being offered on your side of the pond. :) Supposedly it will be offered here on the newly designed 2018 models. Oh yeah and having a Jeep Wrangler without at least some mud on it, should be against the law. LOL

WeRmudfun no problem. You know my interest in Wranglers began right after I rented one in Maui when mwasy wife and I were on our honeymoon. I still remember how fun it was to get in there and take it for a spin. that was in 2007 so I'm sure the overall driving experience of this car has improved.The interior sure looks nicer too. So I've been really thinking of getting the unlimited one day. I'm just not sure how it'll hold up in a big city driving.
This is our 6th Jeep and 4th Wrangler. We have owned a YJ, 2 TJ's and now a JK. We love everyone of them, but this is the smoothest riding one of them all

That was a great review about the Jeep Wrangler. I was searching for professional video since homemade videos aren't that well done but best review that I have found. Hope you do more car reviews or different type of Wangler reviews. And keep on using the accent.

Just got my first Jeep Wrangler last Thursday. My 56th birthday present to myself (with wife's blessing). Love it so far. Love your video and I must ask as I am in Boston, the accent, you HAVE to be from heah (Boston for "here"). Keep up the great videos. I'm lost with the hard top storage. OK to store outside if covered? Some blogs say it may ruin seals. It would just be from April to October. Then back on it goes. I did that with a friend this weeked. Not easy at all! Getting hardtop off was fine but getting soft one on was a horror show. I got a 2017 w/12k miles on it and soft top had never been used so I'm hoping it was just taut because it wasn't yet broken in. It was almost like it didn't fit but it's all good now. And installing the rear vinyl window?!?! WOW! Zipper just would not catch. After 20 attempts, it finally caught. Now I don't dare take it out! I have newbie fear! I keep my cars for 10 plus years. I've had 2 Saabs and traded in a Volvo for this. Volvo was a great car but zero fun to drive. Traded that in actually at 4 yrs old. Could no longer drive it. My point is this is a complete 180 compared to my last 3 cars. Thanks again for this great video! Going to watch all your stuff.

If you are storing the hardtop outside I would recommend trying to put it up on something and not store it on directly on the ground. The first time a soft top is installed, it is best to put it out in the sun first to let the fabric warm up a bit, it stretches easier that way. :) The rear zipper can be a pain at first,they need to be used a few times to get easier.

Yes I will tell all the dealerships I go to. :) So far just went to the one in Mendon, MA. Not many Sahara's there. Since you are in New England, please let me know where you got your Sahara :)
We don't recommend one dealer over another. When we buy a vehicle, we shop online for the best price and that's where we buy, even if it is outside of the New England area. We have never bought from the same dealer twice. You can go out to Jeep.com and see all the inventory for all the dealers. Do not pay MSRP. If they tell you they don't discount, walk away. Took your advise and found a Sahara unlimited online. Base $34,245. MSRP 42,055 with extras. Got it down to $39k. Has dual top, heated seats, side airbags, 430N Radio and premium speakers. Really just wanted heated seats and dual top. Is that a fair price? And it's in NY and I'm in MA. Not sure if that matters either. Appreciate your help!

Finally a good review... Still undecided for the 2dr or 4dr... Or wait for the new 2018... Great to know on the 2dr the back seat is easily taken out
