After a year of hard work, we are off to El Gouna in Egypt for our end-of-year vacation. Staying at the Egyptian Red Sea resort El Gouna was a great occasion to live slowly and self-heal from the everyday businesses for once! Join me for a day of relaxation and chilling at my Junior Suite at Casa Cook El Gouna, followed by some sight-seeing in the nearby city Hurghada and Orange Bay on Giftun Island.

Thanks! The temperature was fine, but it was pretty windy out in the sea.

Hey, how long are you in the Sea till you can really swim?

The private beach at Casa Cook is really shallow. We walked from the shore to the island in the middle, with water level reaching our knees. I didn't try it out myself, but if you walk across to the other side of the island and walk further into the sea, you may be able to swim.
