"I make all the things" really hits hard for me. Appreciate you sharing your workflow Cody! I think this kind of thing really helps all of us creators out here trying to get better little by little every day at our craft.
Freaky fast! One of my biggest time suckers is watching and rewatching. I just need to stop. 😂 The 1.5x for first cut is a great tip. I’ve never tried recut. Thanks for this!
There is so, soooooo much I love about this. From the production or not over-production (which is a good thing) to the info. Heck, just sharing the info you did in a way that's easy to get. Really great stuff dude.
Recut is a cool tool. FYI - Davinci Resolve does this natively. A comparable job and in-app. Thanks for sharing your workflow Cody. Always inspiring to see another's work. How are those ice plunges coming?
Hey Mark. Finally made the jump to Davinci this week. A lot to learn, the basic editing tasks have been very similar to what I have used in the past. But it's those little details for the final project that has kept me from using Davinci from beginning to end. I'm excited to learn more.
cold plunges are about to ramp back up and i CANNOT wait! when it got hot this summer, i had to stop cuz i couldnt keep my water cold enough, but as the Starks say... winter is coming
Agreed. Can't wait for those new vids. My cold exposure is just groundwater right now (50 degrees). Can't wait for ice chipping time here in Idaho. @@RCodyWanner
Love it Drew. Once you adjust, Davinci will be all you do. I used to teach for Adobe and now all I've used is Resolve for 4 years! haha. @@PlayingwithSticks
@@OverlandTrailer I love hearing that. I was a bit hesitant with the jump. But I was almost forced into it. My current NLE is a hot mess. Vegas Pro. Haha. I have been using it for over 5 years because I am cheap and not willing to pay for a monthly license. I don't know if it is truly cheapness or principle that made me do it. Haha. I left Adobe once the last stand alone version stopped getting updates. So excited to be using something within the industry again.
Brilliant video Cody, going to definitely use recut! Was the video suppose to end when it did? Feels like there should be more video, anyways worked as a great cliffhanger 😊
there's a lesson in there somewhere, maybe more about youtube retention than workflow -- but yes, that's where it's meant to end! that said, what else would you like to know? export settings, and then upload process? maybe i can make an end screen that pushes to a video on what else would be helpful??

Amazing insights! This is so helpful for creators, great explanations too 👏
YES too many ideas, not enough execution! Noooo RECUT... how did I not know about this. Buzzing to try it.
Ooh and just saw your discount. Thank you very much good sir. 👏
and thank you!!!!
Recut felt nice on this one…interesting technique editing faster than realtime, I never considered that. 🤓
