I just stumbled upon this song/video, and I fell in love with the song and Michael Bolton!!! I was working all those years. and really never listened to the radio much, now that I am retired I found it on CZcams and that is all she wrote, My very FAVORITE, I LOVE HIS NEW SONGS, BUT I listen to that song whenever I go in my car! , it puts me in dream mode HA!!! i JUST LOVE IT, AND NEVER WILL GET SICK OF IT!

So this is a commentary and question from an old guy. I noticed several young women on CZcams responding similarly to your reaction. Hey Mia, Actually Michael Bolotin is his real last name. I saw him many times at local bars where he's from which is New Haven Connecticut. He was a Bon Jovi style singer back then. His self titled record Michael Bolton ( when he changed his last name to Bolton) from 1983 has a rock song Fools Game and 1985 he had another Everybody's Crazy. We loved him here in New Haven. He wrote songs for Laura Brannigan, Cher, Kiss, and Lady Ga Ga most recently. But he was a rocker back in the day. I recommend Fools Game. Also later How am I supposed to live without you. I'm so happy to see you appreciating all the older music from the 60s,70s, 80s etc!! Great job!!

And 2 Albums in 1979 and 1980 with a band called Blackjack which features Michael on lead vocals and Sandy Gennaro on drums, and Bruce Kulick on guitar. Bruce went on to play with Kiss for quite a while after Ace Freley and Vinny Vincent left. He's now with Grand funk railroad. Blackjack didn't make any waves but the songs are pretty darn good.
