First -- thank you for sharing this! I have just unpacked my Helajn from 13 years in storage. Wired it up and the both the gantry and trolly move when I press the E/W and N/S buttons but neither stops when I release the buttons (I need to unplug the power to get them to stop moving). Any thoughts on that? Thanks! Steve
Steve mine has been in storage for about six years now. but i would have thought by pressing the button once or twice this would stop, unless you have a loose wire some where cheers Robert
u can actually use regular track for this and buy balsa wood that is really thin and cover the track up and make your own layout for the container crane that is wat i am going to do wen ever i get mine i have always wanted one of these like have one or maybe even up to four i have a ho scale myself with alot of locomotive and cars to go with it and plus i use hot wheel cars and trucks and everything they are pretty much the same size and all i am hoping that i will get one really soon

code 80 will work along side code 100 without problems and it is not possible to use code 100 inside the crane area due to the clip system.
you can buy peco joiners that will join code 100 and 80
Constant camera motion just gives a headache. Hold it still and we might gain some insite.

instead of useing the track supplyed, why not put doown a piece of styrene and super glue some flex trax rail to it.
