this doesan't really explain any fix, all you said to do was turn on bluetooth and location which everyone has already done (and we still can't connect) so we need a fix for that.

It does connect just takes a lot of time. I tried to connect mine and then left it and let it go and checked after 4 hours and it was connected
Check two cables (led strip and usb cable) on both cables there is an arrow and when connected to the connector both arrows must be towards each other
I saw a video on this channel techno tutorial today and it finally worked

I have an Android and it still doesnt connect
Turning off my Bluetooth then going to the app and having it make me turn it back on worked for me. Thank you!

Guys I figured it out, for iPhones it’s the lotus lantern app!! Connected right away. I scanned the QR on the little connector box and it took me to a different app completely
this is exactly right for IOS... Thank You!!!!!!!!!

I need help
IF YOU STILL NEED HELP CONNECTING THEM I FOUND A SOLUTION:
first open your app
then in the settings turn on shake
shake your phone 3-4 times (you should feel a vibration)
turn your Bluetooth off and then on again
finally just randomly change the colors and your lights should hopefully connect
repeat steps if necessary
this worked for me I was trying different random ways to reconnect my lights to the app.

Mine worked on andriod when I first installed it now after even deleting and reinstalling the app it wont change tge colours and stays on the colour I first chose it doesn't connect on Bluetooth either 🙄

So I have the app on my phone, my speakers are connected via PMX RGB and speaker lights flicker between 4 colours but I can't blue tooth via phone app to the PMX RGB to control colour and lights ???

For me I needed to go to the Govee app from my settings and turn the Bluetooth and location on from there, then go back to the app and it should pop up

Where is the turn off button
All I had to do was turn on in the settings option for my phone to allow the app to use Bluetooth.

@@CorrineAmelia since the plug can be inserted either right-side-up or right-side-down, please try turning the plug around to fit it properly.
I was able to get mine to connect. My LED strips were not compatible with USB 3.0, had to be USB 2.0 for them to work 👍

Go to your setting go to the app , disconnect the Bluetooth access and reconnect it , mines wasn’t showing up either and it finally did when I did that

For me was problem on connecting two cables (leds and usb ) make sure that both are connected with arrows towards each other on the connector

I have the same lights and my iphone 13 won't connect to them and control them, so I've returned for a refund based on my experience and seeing how you have had the exact same problem
I had the same problem 10 minutes ago, after week of brainstorming i turned off the LED and plugged back and it worked immediately…..

yes, the unit comes in two types. one is remote only and the other is remote and bluetotth connecting. I had bought the remote only one by accident so i sent it back and got the bluetooth version@@ChaseMe11
Well my little chinese garbage remote came right out of the package and we discovered the battery was in upside down!! No kidding! Turned it around put it back in proper an lit up like christmas!
We almost threw it away thinking it was dead.
HI mate, I have this app with an RGB pool light. The problem is it will not keep the schedule time,that l set., After 30 mins or so ,its all white color and I have to start again, This is a deal breaker when l want my pool light to be on at night for 4 hours. This would be more reliable if it was wifi like my deck lights. My house is only say 10 meters from the pool. I dont know what the problem is,any ideas ??

Where can I purchase a remote control for the PRO RGB? My I phone is giving me hell to connect, it comes on today but won't come on tomorrow. I am getting very upset. If there was a remote rather than an app it would be a heck of a lot simple.
