The thing that makes art cool is that it is handmade or made by a real and unique person. Cool video

True artists , by definitions cannot be replaced and wouldn’t worry about it. Commercial artist however will need AI or programs like Procreate to compete for work because if you haven’t noticed anyone with a iPad or computer can be successful selling their work online if they master those tools. Traditional Artists however ? Well they will never take down a Picasso to hang a Clan Logo generated by AI. I do worry however that there’s a whole generation of "Artists"That have never actually created a piece of art but claim or are accepted by their peers as an Artist. 😊

I have no idea what you’re trying to say. I’m not sure what tools have to do with the success of a designer in an AI world. Procreate is the least of the tools in a sea of software many people use. It’s not the tool, it’s the results. An “artist” can be by definition a “commercial artist”. There’s no distinction except one that sells their work and the other doesn’t. The competition between artists and AI is simply the difference between the client process. Some clients don’t give af and are the same low budget payers that aren’t willing to pay more than $20 bucks for a logo. They have no problem letting an AI design them a dollar store logo whether it really fits their needs or not. An established client with an actual payroll, will not take that risk. They cannot input into an AI prompt his brand’s guidelines, voice, competitive analytics, marketing goals, vision/mission, demographic metrics so on and so on
It takes a human to understand these subtleties. A computer is not yet capable of communicating this based off a string of data from existing information. The entire “AI vs artist” competition is really the difference between people who don’t understand the client process and those who do.
