Bro I see people forgetting to turn of indicators in their vehicles? I try to signal them that their indicators are on but they ignore . What to do in such situations?
if they turn on the indicator unintentionally, just look for the tail light, if they are not breaking then we can confirm they didn't turn on indicators.
One more point which i would like to add to is this " Dont double overtake". That is dont try to over take a vehicle that is already overtaking another one !! :) Good content :)
ഞാൻ ചെയ്യാറുള്ള മറ്റൊരു കാര്യം മുൻപിൽ പോകുന്ന ഒരു ഡ്രൈവറുടെ ഡ്രൈവിംഗ് രീതി മനസ്സിലാക്കുക. പെട്ടെന്ന് ബ്രേക്ക് ഇടുക, lane change ചെയ്യുക ഒക്കെ ചെയ്യുന്നവരെ overtake ചെയ്യുമ്പോ ഒരു extra care കൊടുക്കുക. പിന്നെ നമ്മൾ 80 ലും 100ലും ഒക്കെ cruise ചെയ്തിട്ടു ഒരു ബ്രേക്ക് എടുക്കാൻ നോക്കുമ്പോൾ സ്പീഡ് നന്നായ് കുറച്ചിട്ടു മാത്രം റോഡിൽ നിന്ന് മണ്ണിലേക്ക് ഇറക്കുക. കാരണം കൂടിയ സ്പീഡിൽ യാത്ര ചെയ്ത നമുക്ക് 50-60 പോലും തീരെ കുറഞ്ഞ സ്പീഡ് ആയി തോന്നാം. 50-60 ൽ ഒക്കെ മണ്ണിലേക്ക് ഇറക്കിയാൽ skid ആവാൻ chance ഉണ്ട്.

Hi Strell, very useful video. The things you mentioned were very much useful most of which I already learnt the hard way. Most points are covered in this video along with examples which newer riders can definitely follow and make use of. Some points from me 1. While cruising in highway in 80+ speeds once in a while check rear view mirror. Lot of times, you will find that a car is tailgating you, give him way. 2. I would like to emphasize your point that while overtaking from left, say overtaking a slow moving lorry in the third lane from the second lane, make sure nothing will come from the blind spot of the lorry. 3. Helmet is a bare necessity to save your life. Crashes can cause lot of damage to palms, shoulders, knee, ankles etc. Wear a good riding jacket along with gloves, knee pads and ankle covering shoes to lessen the damages. 4. Don't drive if you are sleepy, dehydrated or in mental agony. 5. If possible go for highway riding in group so that your buddy can help in case of an emergency. 6. Inform your family and friends beforehand about your trip. 7. If feeling tired or body ache, rest for a while before resuming. 8. Don't race against time. Give ample time for your journey. 9. Don't ride in high speeds during night and in rain. 10. Don't target fixate . Always look for an escape route if you find an obstacle and rather than looking into it and crashing. 11. Tires should be in best condition for highway riding. Tires heat up a lot during high speed and long duration highway riding Bad tires can cause punctures or worse a tyre burst which will not be noticed during city ride. 12. Lube your chain, fill air to the correct pressure, check brake condition and brake shoe, check your cables for breakage the previous day you go for a ride. These are from some of my experiences. Few tips 1) Check everything like brakes head light indicators before you start 2)Never stop in isolated areas if you are alone 3) Multiply fuel with your approx fuel efficiency and find a petrol bunk before reaching that- drop a pin or so. 4) if you see a speed breaker in last moment try slowing down but don't do panic braking especially without abs 5) always keep visor down as windblast will cause fatigue 6)use hand signals in daylight as indicators will be difficult to see on sunny days 7) if road side assistance is available keep the number handy 8)replace stock headlight with brighter ones 9)learn how to start if your battery goes down and your bike doesn't have a kicker 10) always pay attention to sign boards like schools, speed breakers etc... 11) never stop if a stranger ask you to other than police. I had a bad experience once. 12) try traveling in early morning. Won't be hot, less traffic 13) if you feel fatigue, stop take rest refresh and proceed. Your reflex won't be good if tired

Good One Bro. I think you have missed these major points. 1. Leave a Safe Gap between your vehicle and the vehicle you are overtaking. 2. Allow a minimum of 2 or 3 meters when overtaking. I have seen so many persons doing quick turn that also too close to the vehicle which your overtaking and coming back to lane in same speed. Hi Strell, very useful video. The things you mentioned were very much useful most of which I already learnt the hard way. Most points are covered in this video along with examples which newer riders can definitely follow and make use of.
Some points from me
1. While cruising in highway in 80+ speeds once in a while check rear view mirror. Lot of times, you will find that a car is tailgating you, give him way.
2. I would like to emphasize your point that while overtaking from left, say overtaking a slow moving lorry in the third lane from the second lane, make sure nothing will come from the blind spot of the lorry.
3. Helmet is a bare necessity to save your life. Crashes can cause lot of damage to palms, shoulders, knee, ankles etc. Wear a good riding jacket along with gloves, knee pads and ankle covering shoes to lessen the damages.
4. Don't drive if you are sleepy, dehydrated or in mental agony.
5. If possible go for highway riding in group so that your buddy can help in case of an emergency.
6. Inform your family and friends beforehand about your trip.
7. If feeling tired or body ache, rest for a while before resuming.
8. Don't race against time. Give ample time for your journey.
9. Don't ride in high speeds during night and in rain.
10. Don't target fixate . Always look for an escape route if you find an obstacle and rather than looking into it and crashing.
11. Tires should be in best condition for highway riding. Tires heat up a lot during high speed and long duration highway riding Bad tires can cause punctures or worse a tyre burst which will not be noticed during city ride.
12. Lube your chain, fill air to the correct pressure, check brake condition and brake shoe, check your cables for breakage the previous day you go for a ride.
These are from some of my experiences. Hope it's useful.

Few tips
1) Check everything like brakes head light indicators before you start
2)Never stop in isolated areas if you are alone
3) Multiply fuel with your approx fuel efficiency and find a petrol bunk before reaching that- drop a pin or so.
4) if you see a speed breaker in last moment try slowing down but don't do panic braking especially without abs
5) always keep visor down as windblast will cause fatigue
6)use hand signals in daylight as indicators will be difficult to see on sunny days
7) if road side assistance is available keep the number handy
8)replace stock headlight with brighter ones
9)learn how to start if your battery goes down and your bike doesn't have a kicker
10) always pay attention to sign boards like schools, speed breakers etc...
11) never stop if a stranger ask you to other than police. I had a bad experience once.
12) try traveling in early morning. Won't be hot, less traffic
13) if you feel fatigue, stop take rest refresh and proceed. Your reflex won't be good if tired

I think you have missed these major points.
1. Leave a Safe Gap between your vehicle and the vehicle you are overtaking.
2. Allow a minimum of 2 or 3 meters when overtaking.
I have seen so many persons doing quick turn that also too close to the vehicle which your overtaking and coming back to lane in same speed.
