- www.hawaiimusicsupply.com/ Kimo Hussey plays his Pono ukulele while he teaches an ukulele workshop at Hawaii Music Supply. Here is a snippet of our workshop lesson. He shows us a right hand technique using the forefinger and thumb. We have a write up of this at www.hawaiimusicsupply.com/pono...
I especially love Kimo's sensitivity to dynamics as he plays. . . Loud to soft and every shade in between. . . That is pure SOUL!!!
Excellent, Kimo. I’ve been searching CZcams to find techniques that I can learn from you. Good stuff. Thank you.
Kimo is a good teacher and he is teaching the method shown in most of the vintage ukulele books I have.
Hi Kimo, I have watched this carefully and compared it to your Triplets video of April,2014 and I don’t see a difference. I am a big fan and over time I will see all your videos and think how we lucky we are to have and that you are sharing your skill.Thank you..
Kimo is a master! Perfect words about it.
Kimo, Love, love, love the video. I am new to the Uke, about 2 months now and learning as much as I can. Thank you,
Harley
Very very musical performance as usually.
For me the greatest thing here is real musicality in rythm and dymamics.
With such capability even three chords would enchant you immediately!
That is really something to learn!
Oh so musch helpful! Such a beautiful sound too!!
Great video. I love all the new vids you guys are creating....really good stuff. Much Mahalos to all involved, you are all appreciated more than you know.
Gorgeous Pono!

Thank you for a great tutorial.
This is the lesson I work on and try to master . It is similar to a technique we use on drop thumb Banjo This is a great lesson Kimo!
Awesome! Mahalo for posting that!
I love how and what you teach on the ukulele. You’ve helped me immensely. Do you give private video lessons? I’d love to learn more from you. Thanks so much!
Great stuff, Kimo.

Wow. Gifted or many many days on the beach watching the waves.
Thanks Kimo!!
Thank you Kimo 😁🤙
So cool!
coolest dude so far for me but have admired the rest..
I miss working with Kimo at 613th AOC, Hickam AFB when he was CACI. He used to teach me the "uke" during lunch breaks...
Nice and fun, but it looks that when he plays a song he plays not what he just taught.
He taught down-down-up triplet, and in Love me tender he plays it up-down-down.
It looks the same but the beat is in the other note.
Love the t-shirt
nice work
Yes ... : "Thanks Kimo!" ... and HawaiiMusicSupply!!! ... :-)
Thank you Kimo. I’ve been trying this for months and could not get it. tonight it worked. I’m still a little slow but I got it. yahoo
