Thank you for bearing with me through my training period as it was a busy time period and I wasn't able to post this last week, but here it is!

If you've ever wondered what it was like becoming a Cast Member at Disneyland well... here it is! Super hectic, super busy, but super fun. A review on my last few days of training including my assessments and first few days of official work will be posted next friday! Thank you for joining me in this most magical journey of mine! I hope this helps anyone who is going through the process or hopes to one day! If you have any questions feel free to leave them for me and I'll see what i can answer!

Awesome to hear of your experience! I just got offered to by a photopass photographer at Disneyland! I'm about to schedule my traditions and onboarding. Hopefully once I start, we can meet up! Would love to have you as a friend!
Photo pass sounds like such a great opportunity I hope you have the best time! I’m no longer with the company but I’m always down for a park day!

It will take me only 25 min on the bus to get to Disney (one bus only). I’m super grateful for this and I know what it’s like to have to take multiple buses and Lyfts and it’s very time consuming and annoying. Proud of you for doing this!

Where would you park at? Bc can you park at the cast member parking or do you have to pay for parking? And would they email you the main entrance or would you receive it in the mail? If you don’t get the main entrance ticket on time would you have to pay for the ticket reservation? Sorry for all these questions I’m very curious because I have my tradition coming up soon. 😊

Desire Garza I have a question about the tradition how long do it take you to be done with the tradition for both day.
I just got hired into attractions and I’m curious. Is working the rides difficult? I am very nervous!
what are the rules for the main entrance pass? i have traditions next week but im too impatient lol. what are the blackout dates like for cast members?
As far as yourself goes, you’d just have to make a park reservation which would be subject to availability and blockout dates. Generally you’re blocked out of the parks for popular holidays and such or when a new attraction or land opens, it’s really just so that they can ensure that during busier times the paying guests have priority. Blockout dates can be kinda random sometimes but you’ll be able to check those on the Cast Life app once you have your login info!

Do you know anything about the childcare services that they provide for cast members?
Hi, I actually do not know anything about those. I know that Disneyland and WDW are having Job Fairs coming up, I think the best way to find out more info before applying would be to go check out the job fair and ask a Cast Member there. Hope that helps! 💕

Is the main entrance pass still get mailed till this day or you get in traditions day ? :)
Yes! I do believe that your main entrance pass will be getting mailed to you, it’s supposed to be mailed out the day of traditions and it should get to you within 2 weeks
@@desiregarza6926 another question do both parks have the same backstage or it’s different?
@@fabiolavazquez2754 Great Question! Since they are on opposite sides it is a little different, but there’s trams backstage to get to both sides that get you there entirely backstage if that makes sense. So there is a few different entrances to get backstage but once you’re there it’s all kinda one big thing and there’s ways to get to where you need to go
Hii I have a question, since you were commuting from so far what did you tell them regarding your availability?
I tried to give them as much availability as possible, truthfully I wasn’t able to keep up with it, but essentially, after the busy season a Casual Regular CM only has to be available on Friday nights and Saturdays and Sundays so that’s what I did.

I have a question so I got my main pass entrance on Saturday but I’m having a hard time to link my pass. Is that normal dose it take time for it to be linked? :)
It can be a little finicky sometimes, I’d suggest fully exiting the app out and trying again maybe? I’m not too sure, what’s nice is once it’s linked you won’t have to link it again, but you can always call the support number!

@@desiregarza6926 I think the problem is that I accidentally linked it to the Disney land in Florida i don’t if that’s the reason why it doesn’t let me link it
@@fabiolavazquez2754 that shouldn’t make much of a difference, I believe you can still link it to the Disneyland one but there’s a specific way to do I I think
@@fabiolavazquez2754 I don’t fully remember how to do it I’m sorry, there should be a help number on the app or you can always ask a Coordinator or someone of that nature in the office maybe?

I realize that you are a cast member, I was wondering if Disneyland has the college program?
Disneyland does have a college program but it is not currently running yet. The Disney world program however is and im a fall ‘19 cp alumni from there!
Hey I work at mermaid and my girl works for corporate. Do you happen to have any grad night vids or special event vids. I lost my phone with all my memories
I’m not sure what kind of special events you were looking for but I’ve only been to Oogie Boogie Bash and Sweethearts Nite as far as after dark events go, haven’t been to grad night though!
