- This run beats my old 26:47 wr, which at the time I was immensely proud of, by over 2 minutes! It just shows how far we've come, and will continue to.

06:04 - Day 2
12:19 - Day 3
17:40 - Day 4
20:06 - Day 5
Do I think this run will be WR for a long time? Probably not but all levels except BA and SST2 were very well played, so I'm happy with this time for now. I could see 15s timesave in BA, another 5 with good spray usage in SS, so a goated run with current strats would be around sub 24:30. We've only just broken the 24 barrier, so I'm not going to try that yet!
The biggest problem during this run was the dwarf bulborb in the first level somehow did not grow 4 pikmin! If I had 20 yellows, BA would have been much faster. At the start of the level when I saw 16y, internally i gave up, which is why I had that mistake at the start with the electric gate. I nearly reset then. Alternatively, if I'd known I wasn't going to get the dwarf yellows, I'd have just gone to sunset when the flarlic got in to save a couple of seconds.
The HH was an in-run gold, but I'm fairly sure I've done it even faster in practice. I just have been practicing it so much, since in the past few days I've choked 3 different possible 24 pace runs in HH. The last one was a 25:17, which I didn't submit because I was disgusted with the mistakes!
Thanks for reading this stuff, it's important to me to be able to explain my thoughts on the run so you can see my perspective while I play, especially when it comes to embarrassing, rare mistakes like at the start of BA. - Hry

Nice WR! I think the missing 4 yellows is because 2 reds grabbed onto the corpse right before it reached the Onion, I see a pink 5/3 above the corpse in the last frame it existed. Way to keep going in spite of that!

That's so impressive! It's always fun to see speedruns for Pikmin games, 'specially when they lead to world records. Congrats!
Been enjoying watching your P4 stuff Mokay, it's really interesting seeing how the route for this has improved. I appreciate reading the explanations you give too, as a speedrunner myself I can really relate to the reasons you mentioned for doing that. Like somehow the mistakes just don't feel quite as bad if you can explain what happened and where you were mentally in certain moments.
It's like Pikmin 1, but it's 10 times better.
How did you get that gear at 18:37? You whisled your pikmin off of it before.

what are your shortcuts? I think I saw you use swap, juice, dismiss/2, stun and bomb, but I thought there were only 4 buttons for shortcuts

Mind. Blown. Pure ballet. You are even chirping to the music. An amazing run! Curious what was your time the first time u did this knowing nothing? Mine was 3 hour 52 min. Going for better time. Under 3 hours next goal!

Little tip: get rid of the rewind at start. I thought u were going to use rewind which is cheating. I saw why u did it but may throw others off. Just trim it. Easy to do. 😊
