REVIEW before you buy WATERCOLOR PAPER

Confused as to what type of watercolor paper to buy? Do more expensive watercolor papers make you a better artist? Ready to test out four different paper types with me?
In this video I will give you a step by step watercolor demonstration on 4 different paper types including Fabriano Hot press 140 lb, Arches Cold press 140 lb , Saunders Waterford cold press 140 lb and Kilimanjaro cold press 300 lb. Each of these paper types have unique qualities and provide the beginner watercolorist with a firm foundation to test their skills on. There are MANY different types of watercolor paper out there and I am just reviewing four types today. I dont want the beginner watercolorist to get overwhelmed and I truly believe if you spend an extra dollar on watercolor paper you will see more confidence and success in your artwork.
These four paper types are what I have used throughout the years and I will demonstrate a sunset painting on all four papers to help you understand quickly how paint reacts to the paper! This painting tutorial is for the beginner artist and will be a great guide to start exploring watercolor paper.
