Just found your channel and subscribed. Beautiful painting. Wonderful inspiration from Bob Ross.
You're using opera rose, a marginally impermanent pigment, on a large painting? Try quinacridone magenta.
Is the whole painting wet on dry?
Yes
@@artericson thank you
Love this
Too much fussing on road.
Art is subjective.
No sound?
My sound is fine.

Just discovered your channel! First video. I see you don’t wet your paper first. Also the glazing (unfamiliar) - you just have water on your brush- no presetting? and dry brushing - all interested- thanks.
Thanks for watching! When you don’t wet your paper first it’s called dry brushing. Yes let the paint dry in the paper and then go over it👍🏻
I had no idea that they post what jurors are looking for.
🎉🙌🏼⭐️
Wow🎉
Thank you!
What the blob?!
That's amazing work!! Takes skill doing this technique at such huge scale Impressive and truly inspiring
Thank you!!
Wow
Thank you for sharing your process. It really shows the how tos for consistency, composition and color values. Really enjoyed it!
Glad it was helpful!
❤ that was lovely!
Thank you!
I haven't begun yet, just trying to learn from you first. Thank you ❤
Your welcome!
The secrets to printing big? This could be any size.
Awesome somg
wow this is really good i’ll be using these techniques when i paint next!
Thank you! I’m glad it helped you!
Inspiring, thank you Would you say what did you mount the large Arches paper on? I long to make-a large painting but never have done it. Donn't know what to do to make it stable.
Thank you! I have used firm cardboard, gator board, foam core, wood and masonite. It just depends what you want to go with! Thanks for the comment!
So, did you start from a photograph?
@sloshingjesus8159 yes I did
You sound like Tom Cruise !
Haha thank you!
Awesome!
Thank you!
Love it!❤❤
Appreciate it!
I just saw your other video referring to the colors and brushes you used for this painting, so now I’m viewing your past videos- I KNOW that someday your paintings are going to be an awe to the rest of the world. You are so good!
Dude! Thank you so much, that means a lot!
Thank you for the tip! This will definitely help with my flower projects!! (Which I have way to many of because I LOVE flowers) 😂😂
Sweet!
Hi there! I’ve been working on my watercolor and gouache, so thanks for the tips! I’ll be following along for more- thank you! Also, such a pretty painting! ❤
Awesome! your welcome! and thank you for following me work!
The last part of my video got cut off! The last brush is a rosemary and Co. extended point series number #8. Make sure to subscribe for more watercolor tips!
I haven't started at the end of the petals before! Maybe that's what I did wrong
It really depends on what flower you are trying to create but I have found for this New England Aster it helps!
You've got a great voice :)

It feels like you are just filling in the drawing. Like a coloring book. Try this one without a drawing! You are perfectly capable of doing this. Much more than most of us. Thanks!
Thanks for the comment. I do a lot of paintings without drawing. When I do very realistic paintings I like to draw it out first. When the painting is completely finished you will barely see the pencil lines. The fun thing about painting is that the artist has full artistic license to do whatever they want👍🏻
Nice artwork dude, keep it up (:
Appreciate it!
Make sure you subscribe to see how this painting turns out as whole👍🏻
Congratulations! Thanks for the update and telling us about yourself. Your painting is amazing. Well done!
Thank you!
Pretty! it looks like a mountain with a river stream with saplings or well trees around, but or else you can check the description too!
Thank you! And thanks for commenting!
Abstract ✨
👍🏻
Whats that
Lmao ik so confused too
it's supposed to be a mountain with a river and trees, but I'm personally not impressed.
@@kylehess4472😭😭 well no duh they did it in a short amount of time
@@kylehess4472 i mean yes i see the mountain and stuff but that is hella confusing
Yes, it is a mountain and trees in the foreground. I created it in literally 10 seconds so that is why it looks abstract to some. Thanks for watching and commenting!

Lovely painting
Thank you!
Looking forward to your knowledge & sharing it with us Wyn. Thank you!!
Thank you Lynn! More videos to come😀
Ngl the value thing kind of messed with my head. I'm having a hard time comparing saturated colors to black/white/grey etc. Any suggestions?
I would start by picking up a simple grayscale value chart at your local art store. You really need to put that right next to the colored paper and go back forth between all of the different values and as you practice it will become clear. I know it’s hard at first but you will get the hang of it.
Very cool. I enjoyed watching your process. I am inspired to paint a similar landscape. Peace
Thank you for watching! I am glad you were inspired, keep up the hard work
Ooo I love this painting! Thanks so much for sharing with us.
I’m looking forward to seeing more of your videos!
Thanks for watching!
Wow, That's just amazing! Well done!
Thank you so much!
I've been watercoloring for over a year, but have taken a month off, here and there depending on some health issues. I've seen you before I found this tutorial... can't remember where ... I think it was a comment on the tube!!! Congratulations on your new site! Do you also work for Blick? I looked at Faber Castell website and Blick is noted as one of their suppliers. So if you buy from Amazon and the seller isn't one noted as authorized by FC, they don't guarantee what you buy... Anyway, I like the look of some loose watercolor, but can't paint that way because it looks as if I spilled paint on paper... but not super detailed either! Thank 😊 you for sharing this, a California Gramma...
Thank you for commenting! No, I do not work for Blick but I do enjoy their products. You are right, the loose style is hard to tame but keep up the practice and you will get there! Have a great weekend and thanks again for watching my videos!
