I've spent tens thousands of hours with these songs over 70 yrs. I sang with my family, traveled the Western United States, and sang with my family and my children. Wore out a lot of records,tapes and DVD's, CD's. Now in my older year, my voice gone because of health issues, my Lord has provided me with a tablet and all that these brothers and sisters have posted on the internet. I Thank my Lord for all those who haved loved this music like I have and shared it with me. What an day when we all sing "Amazing Grace" around God's throne. THANK YOU!
Same here, Patsy, but we were on the eastern side of the U.S. Love the old songs. So glad my parents raised us up within the Church and gospel music. My dad was a tenor and my mom was an alto. She had one of the most beautiful voices I've ever heard. Sounded so much like Anna of the Chuck Wagon Gang. I sang lead or alto and my brother sang high tenor.
